Just received my Hakuto R timepiece. Simply gorgeous. Very light on the wrist. It looks like jewelry with the finish being dark, with white and chrome accents. I love the band with the center links having a textured titanium finish. The hands are thin and elegant. This is now the "go to" watch in my collection.
Another fantastic addition to the Attesa line. Fit and finish is on par with Swiss watches in the $3-5K range, I’ve been far more happy with my Citizens than any other brand. For the other reviewer who had trouble getting the signal, make sure the watch is set to the right city so that it “listens” for the appropriate radio signal for the closest atomic clock. Pull the crown out to position 1 and then turn until the seconds hand lines up to your closest city. I live about 1500 miles from the Denver station and have had no problems. I do prefer Citizen’s radio timekeeping to their GPS models, I find it works slightly more reliably.
Elegant functional timepiece
I bought this watch because I liked the design. It can tell the day of the week, supports daylight saving time, and can be used worldwide. The only thing I don't like is that "Atomic Timekeeping" means adjusting the time using radio waves. It seems there is a way to adjust the app that creates radio wave signals from a smartphone using earphone cables, but it fails. It is always off by 8 seconds.
I had chosen the complementary sizing option. It was unfortunate to see when the watch came sized. With 5 links on one side of the clasp and 7 on the other, which is making the watch sit crooked on the wrist. It is unfortunate to see that poor detail. With a price point such as this watch. Now, with all that being said, the watch is very high quality. Definitely, an eye catcher. As well as very beautiful details. Absolutely, love the technology packed into it. 10/10 would recommend!
