I bought this on Ebay a few weeks ago and got it last week. I have 3 Citizen watches and one is a Satellite Wave. This watch is far above and beyond the other ones. I love the look and the weight. This will probably be the last watch that I'll buy..
I got this watch today in the mail. But I have been studying the manual for a week since I placed my order. The dial looks very busy in pictures but not in the flesh. The watch is very light, the black titanium is nothing short of stunning, and the satellite magic is very impressive. I got 12+ eco drive watches but this is really the most impressive.
It's very cool looking, accurate and logically arranged. The super-titanium case and bracelet is really SUPER in every way, light, strong, great looking, 200 meter water resistance. I'm very impressed.
You really cannot beat Citizen for quality and value. They build incredible watches with great movements and loaded with features. Based on Citizen's price points, you cannot buy a better watch in my humble opinion. This watch is on the pricier side for Citizen, but again its value for money (if you can afford). All titanium, F900 GPS, sapphire crystal, 200m water resistant, very secure clasp, and loaded with features you just don't find on many other watches. Again, think extreme value for money. Have I made my point about value for money. You just cannot do better! One final point, spot on time accuracy!
This watch does everything I wanted it to do. The dial spins smoothly for a wide range of quick calculations (yes, I am a geek who is comfortable with slide rules). I will admit to watching the Citizen YouTube video (about 34 minutes) that very clearly showed how to set everything. So I have EST time as primary, Tokyo as secondary. The alarm is set (pretty loud; hard to not hear!), and it is VERY light weight. I am very happy with this watch. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to own one. This is my 6th Citizen Eco Drive, and likely not the last...!
Second eco-drive watch I own. I always wanted a GPS watch that is solar powered and titanium. For a while I was looking at Seiko Astrons, but this baby was so much easier to get and the price is a lot better. Being used to stainless steel watches, I was surprised how much lighter this watch is considering how beefy it is. Thickness it is not much different than any eco-drive atomic watch, but the face of the watch is quite huge due to the bezel.
What attracted me to this watch: 1) The GPS accuracy 2) The black Military Styling. 3) The titanium construction 4) The light weight 5) the Saphire crystal 6) the overall functionality (I'm an engineer and gadget geek). Other comments: It is solar powered which I'm not necessarily a big fan of, but I'll just have to remeber not to store it in a drawer for long periods. I know some people love solar, I'm just not one of them. Also, the alarm beep is on soft side and the lum is "good" but not great. Lastly, when I had it sized, the pins that had to be removed then re-inserted would fall out easily and I had to have over-sized pins inserted. At this price point I'd have liked to see screws vice pins.
This is a great titanium satellite (GPS) watch from Citizen. It is light, accurate, and functions perfect. A well thought out, great looking, very easy to read design. I wear this watch daily.
