Beautiful color and display. Son will love this gift from his late grandparents.
Great looking watch with solid functionality. I enjoy the larger size digital readout and the options for its display.
This is a very nice watch. Looks good with formal or casual. Size is good. Little heavy. Clear analogue and single large digital displays. Multiple digital display options for time, date or both or second time. Push to light the digital display for a couple of seconds to see in the dark. Florescent analogy hands. Eco solar power. UTC time and battery level showing. Stopwatch. Cons, - Little heavy. - No one easy way to see ur second time on digital display. UTC is displayed on a small clock. - No Radio time keeping, as many other Citizen watches. So have to manually adjust.
I’m a big Citizen fan and love the Ecodrive, durability and precision of their watches. The U830 did not disappoint when I received it last week! But I did replace the bracelet immediately with a navy sailcloth band from Barton (quick release). I also ordered two $15 NATO straps so I can keep things fresh and easily dress the watch up or down for any occasion. I don’t see myself putting the stainless steel bracelet back on as I think it makes the watch heavy and look too generic.
The whatch is very comfortable. I love the strap. The menus is easy to use . Great product
love it
This watch is all you need. Atomic and radio aren't a deal breaker for me. This watch makes up by the digital display providing information like dual time and things of similar nature. The build is good like citizen is known for the bracelet, the bracelet however is decent. My previous citizen had a substanial feel this one is like 60 percent of it. Overall a very well made watch with all you need and some extra. Don't pay retail though.
Arrived in timely manner properly sized and looks better in person versus online. Would like to have had old fashion instruction booklet for such a technically packed watch.
Looks great. But, MIP display all but useless for chronograph information. Also, the MIP is a negative display - it changes to positive for setting, but back to negative after setting. The negative display is frustratingly hard to see in any but the brightest light conditions, and the very small display is also difficult to read quickly in the cockpit. Finally, for this price point Citizen should have included radio sync time setting capability. I returned my U830 and haven’t missed it. For slightly more money an Apple Watch Ultra 3 is much more capable and tough. Yes you have to charge it every 2 day - but so what? You have to charge your cell phone too, so…. Disappointed. Really wanted to like this watch as all have all previous versions of the SkyHawk, Navihawk…..etc.
