Overall a good watch and great collector/conversation piece. Once I found the instructions online it was easy to set. Instructions should have been in the packaging. Functions are simple and its easy to operate. Face is a bit small and some of the details are hard to see, even with glasses. I wish it had eco-drive technology - big miss by Citizen, but overall I'm very happy with the watch.
Great watch my 10 year old son loves it! I just wish it included a manual instead of having to go online.
It looks great, it is exactly what I expected. Cant give 5 stars because the backlight is too low, which is sometimes annoying.
I have never owned a Citizen watch. This is my first I absolutely love it!! The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the light that it comes with to highlight the date is awful. But I never need it so it’s not a big deal.
I was happy to see Citizen bring back the Ani Digi Temp, and the Star Wars styling is just the icing on the cake! I plan on wearing this to fan conventions, but it's also surprisingly comfortable as a daily wearer, and versatile too. As others have mentioned, the ability to switch temperature readings to Fahrenheit would have been a welcome feature. Watch face is smaller than I had hoped, but still easy enough to read. Nicely priced for a fun stylish statement!
Nice looking, smaller than I thought it would be. Instructions are limited, how to change temp from C to F is not mentioned. Very lite watch and no eco drive, buttons and band feel sturdy but cheap looking like a prize from a cereal box. I will assume quality due to brand name and tight tolerance band and case are machined to. Clasp is great and easy to adjust, if you have it sized on site it doesn’t remove links, clasp slides on band. Band tapers to half size of watch at clasp, wife asked if it was a ladies watch at first sight. Purchased both rebel and empire and love the look of both.
Good design that brings out the Star Wars vibes very well! However, the box that the watch came in was a disappointment - overall poor quality with lots of rough edges. Something that you would expect a fake $50 watch to come in, not a $300+ Star Wars collaboration watch. Citizen did not even bother to correct the misprint on the box that the watch was "powered by light", which Citizen itself separately pointed out to be incorrect.
Great looking. I get compliments alot on this watch. Compliments from watch people and star wars fans ironically. My only compliment is at the price point add sapphire and a led light. But love the quirkiness and functions. I get its a 80s retro but its 2025 and why not out spec the old one. I wear on job as mechanic and works well for stop watch and date time functions. Thin profile makes it perfect for my job I can leave it on all day or about 90 percent with out getting in my way while doing engine work. Citizen watches are made for citizens. would be a dream if you guys made a mechanic themed and function watch i would buy asap...
Purchased this Pilot Rebel for my 12 yrs old for Christmas because he was hoping for one. The size of the watch a fine, but the bracelet, the way it's attached to the watch it does not allow to follow the wrist. It's basically made for bigger wrists, which defies that kid of watch. Obviously not going to wear it at my age. He'll have to wait until older, time which he'll have outgrown that type of watch. It's basically a collectable not to be worn...
I bought this watch a few weeks ago and when I received it I was very disappointed to find out the fact that it would not switch The temperature reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the digital display. My original 1986 version of this Watch is still running just great with new batteries every couple of years and is switchable between Celsius or Fahrenheit reading. It is my opinion that if Citizen was going to re-issue this watch (as they did) it should have had all the features of the original 1980s version.
