This was a gift and it is watch I get quite a few complements on!
With Eco-Drive, any Citizen watch for that matter is worth the investment. No more replacing batteries! As for styling, that comes down to a persons personal preference. I own 7 Eco-Drive watches, all have held up well with the exception of some scratches and the bands. This particular model is one of my favorites and most recent purchase. The crystal seems more durable than any of my previous watches since it still has no scratches! My only issue with this and many of the newer watches on the market is that they are bigger and noticeably heavier than my past watches (my favorite discontinued watch: Citizen 180 Eco-Drive Mens Titanium BM8290-05E). Overall a great watch worth owning.
I like the size and looks very good on my wrist. It was what I was looking for in a watch. The date box looks a lot larger in the photos. Reading the date is difficult.
I liked the watch and bought it for my husband as a gift. Unfortunately, he found it too hard to tell the time with the numbers being white as well as the tip of the hands.
I have one but the strap not strong it keeps bursting
The band lasted about 2 years. The watch face is durable, I expected more longevity for $150+ watch.
The watch has worked well though there are two distinct negatives. One - the extremely weak glow on the watch face making it nearly impossible to read in the dark despite long hours under light beforehand. Two - the watch band is made of a poor quality polyurethane rubber that has quickly deteriorated and cracked/broke off within less than one year. I have not found a replacement and the advertised one is about $75.00. That is an expensive annual expense.
watch runs well and durable. Not so for band. After 2 years, cracked and unusable. Not covered by warranty. Due to design of watch, a replacement must be from the manufacturer and runs $35! Not able to use third party bands. For this reason, I suspect it will cost of bands will exceed cost of watch over 10 years. Not a great product
I bought this watch for my boyfriend less than a year ago and he wore it normally. The band snapped in half randomly while he was wearing it one day and is now unwearable. When I reached out to customer service to get it repaired I was told the 5 year warranty would not cover it and there was nothing they could do. For such an expensive watch you would think that the company would cover a replacement of the band rather than fight over language in the warranty.
