An OKAY watch but feels cheap.

I bought this watch less than 6 months ago and if you do anything any normal man does in his every day life, it is a terrible choice. The stitching on the band frayed and the band has discoloured to the point of being ugly, and can be smelt from a mile away The buttons felt cheap from the moment of opening the box. I was walking up my stairs and slightly brushed my arm against the wall, there is now a massive deep scratch across it blocking the date. The date is also very difficult to see from any other angle than straight above. Just find a new band and this watch might be an alright buy. if you are a business man or a softy this watch is good for occasions. Wouldn't last longer than 1 year under normal conditions, so it doesn't matter that the battery never dies. It only looks good for a month max.

Classic good looks

I purchased this watch unexpectedly due to it’s low cost and looks. My old watch is by no means as nice but has lasted 10 years before the battery died and leather strap separated itself from the watch. I was a little hesitant to purchase as I was not sure I wanted to get another leather strap. When I realized how thick this strap was, I decided to go ahead as it is almost twice as thick as my old one. The color of the strap is especially nice. The weight of this watch is perfect without being too heavy and posing a discomfort on my wrist as it would lean forward. A nice, easy to read dial and great warranty sealed the deal. Highly recommended!

It had me at first sight- Such a great watch!

My mother had gotten me this watch as a gift for a birthday two years ago. I only had it for a year before I lost it in Mexico on a family trip and I was so torn up about it. I knew I had to find it somehow, lo-and-behold, it was here on the Citizen website that I was reunited with it. I even threw on the old leather straps that I had when I had gotten it serviced to give it that orginal feeling I had when I got it. It truly is a beautiful watch to admire, even more a grandeur feeling to have on the wrist. At 45 mm, it's no small watch. I take a huge liking to this. I want to know I have a reliable, "heavy watch feeling" on my wrist knowing that it makes a statement as both a timepiece and as a fantatic accessory item to have on. As mentioned above, the leather straps, can get worn in making it easier (or tougher depending on how you look at it) to feed through the leather loops. This really gives it a "rugged" feel, but I definitely am worried about it cracking and getting old over time; (as with all leather if it's not treated) especially with how big the watch is and feels. If you are a fan of busy watch faces, this is definitely one to have!
