Bought this as my first timepiece for work and very pleased. Watch was confusing and difficult to set but it works beautifully and looks great too
I received this watch as a Christmas gift. Love it! The accuracy is amazing, as well as the looks. This is my "dress" watch, as I use a Navihawk AT for my daily-wear/work watch. I appreciate the fact that it never needs to be reset, because if the "Atomic" calibration feature. Once it is initially set, it stays accurate. Beautiful! In addition, the Eco-Drive system keeps the wstch going without a worry. The only drawback is that the display is not illuminated. The hands do glow for some time, if exposed to light, but a constant glow or backlight feature would make it absolutely fantastic.
This watch is amazing. The battery recharges ftom the sun. It is accurate and has several functions. On the other hand it is a little cmplicatd tp set up and the chrono functions are not as quick to be used as in traditional watches.
I like this watch and would give it 5 stars. It is one star short based on the buying experience. I purchased the watch on Walmart.com based on the competitive price offered. Being a little skeptical, I communicated with Citizen and asked if Walmart was an authorized Citizen seller. Their response was "yes" but make sure it is not sourced from the 3rd party seller. Well...I saw some links on Walmart's site that listed 3rd party sellers but chose the one that didn't, assuming it was sourced directly from Walmart. When I picked the watch up, the associate retrieving it for me said I can return it if there were any problems. I asked the Jewelry Manager if she would size it for me and said she couldn't. After writing a review expressing my displeasure, a Walmart.com "manager" called me telling me they couldn't size it because it WAS sourced from a third party (from Brooklyn, N.Y.) and they didn't want to be responsible if they damaged the watch. Surprisingly, they now said that the watch would NOT be returnable to Walmart due to the 3rd party sourcing (contrary to what the associate said when I picked it up). This has gotten to be way too much hassle and I would not recommend purchasing from Walmart.
