Got it in 2014, but with the metal strap. The only issue with it is the chronograph that last only 1 hour, it's useless. They could have used the 24h dial (next to the 9 O'clock position) to give us a 24 chronograph, but no.
Absolutely love the watch, great for quick timezone changes and remains incredibly accurate in Europe and North America. My big complaint is how brutal the strap is. I have had 3 fall apart, like leather rip off, in only 5 years on a watch I never get wet and only sweaty when I'm flying. I don't like the extra $100 annual fee of strap replacement on such an otherwise wonderful timepiece.
Got this 2 years ago at Christmas. Amazing looking watch. Looks even better than it does in the pictures. I can’t wear the watch every day because of my job and because I’m getting skin rashes from metal. So I got this one basically for weekends. When I first noticed the battery won’t last from one weekend to the next even though it was full I sent the watch in for service, maybe get a new battery, idk. I got it back untouched with note that I didn’t do a proper reset on it. Took the book, did the reset, same thing. So I gave up. I was gonna manually set the watch when I was gonna use it. All together maybe had the watch on my wrist for about 50days in the past 2 years. Back of the leather band cracked after 5 or 6 times on hand. The watch was never in contact with water. Setting it up manually requires the manual all the time. I live in Toronto, so if set up time zone being NYC is showing The time being 5 hours earlier. I love the appearance of the watch, everything else is just painful.
I love the way this watch looks. It’s why I bought it, but I’ve had it 4 or 5 days and it still hasn’t synced to the correct time.
