This is actually the second Citizen Blue Angle World Chronograph I have owned. The Eco-drive in my first finally went out after 12 years, not bad for a solar powered watch in my mind. It can be relatively hard to set-up, but once you know the functions, it smooth sailing after that. The instrumentation on the face can be difficult to read, especially in low light, but most complex watch faces are..... I have a modest, but growing watch collection and Citizens alway make for a different but fun addition for considerable less money than the more luxery brands.
This is my first fancy watch, I’m not a guy to make big purchases like this, but here we are. I purchased based on brand reputation and aesthetics only, figuring I could just ‘figure everything else out.’ Blown away is an understatement. It’s stunning, and once I read the manual (it’ll be online), even I got everything the way I wanted it in minutes. The size guide was a little off for me, but my local store fixed it for less than $6. I cannot stop looking at it, and I can’t wait to show it off. I’m only one day in, but the warranty sits peacefully in the back of my mind.
The time piece has an unbelievable precision and less maintenance. The watch fits perfectly on my wrist. It literally increases my confidence when I wear it.
I just received this Citizen Blue Angels World Chronograph today and i absolutely love it! It's just the most super cool Chrono. It is the sixth Citizen watch i have owned now, Four of them are Blue Angels Editions, i really love the popping blue & yellow colors. These watches have all the bell's & whistles you could ever want in a time peice. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, but my only concern is that it did not come in a Blue Angels specific box, only received it in a standard style Citizen box as you can see in my attached photo. But still the watch is excellent quality and has some Rockin good looks too. If you purchase one of these you will not be dissapointed.

I bought this watch almost a year ago and I wear it all the time. I absolutely love it. It doesn't matter if I am dressing up or dressing down, this watch gets looks wherever I go. The eco-drive feature is great, I never have to worry about my watch being dead. I travel quite a bit, so being able to change time zones easily is very convenient.
I have an older version of this watch from 3 years ago. It has been though a lot, dropped it tons of time, and at times it would get thrown out and hit the ground and still be fine. Rock solid!! It got lots of functions and features. Can not live with out this watch!

Great watch that looks good with any attire. Whether I ware business attire or casual offfice attire. I constantly receive complements on it. Easy to tell time at a glance and the use of seconds timer future is great. I don't worry about changing battery ever or winding it. I registered for an additonal 1 year warranty. I am also going to order leather blue watch band this will give it a sporty look so i can accessorize. I believe this might be a watch I can pass down to my kids in the future.

My wife purchased the Blue Angels World Time AT. We plan to travel much more frequently and the features of this watch are just right for my needs, while being very simple to set and operate without bringing the instruction manual along with you. I love this watch for all of the obvious reasons: beautiful, Saphire glass, eco drive, automatic movement, etc. I wish it comes with titanium watch band to make it a perfect watch all around even though I know stainless stell is more durable than titanium. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it as well.
I have had this watch for a few months now, and it is an awesome, beautiful watch. Pictures don't do it justice. I get a lot of compliments on it, and, to be honest, I find myself staring at it more than I'd like to admit. Perfect size, good heft but not heavy. I can't recommend this watch strongly enough.
I have had this watch for a little over a month now and absolutely love it. This is NOT an over-the-top, oversized, crammed full of unnecessary features kind of watch. What this watch IS, is an extremely well made, intuitive to use, supremely accurate watch that is a pleasure to look at and feels perfect on the wrist. It has an understated, classy design that still manages to draw attention and compliments from others. The atomic time-keeping has been flawless and has updated every single night, without fail, since the day I purchased it (I live in the Pacific Northwest USA and have the time zone set to LAX). The movement on this watch is up there with some of the smoothest I have seen and all of the dials are incredibly precise - they line up exactly where they should, when they should. The perpetual calendar is easy to set up and is a 1 time "set and forget" affair. It will take care of everything (including leap years) from there on out. Setting the time zone is as simple as pulling the crown out one click, rotating it to the desired time zone, pressing the crown back in and you are done. Chronograph function is as simple as a press of the top right button to access chrono, another press to start, press again to stop, press the bottom right button once to zero and again to return to exit chrono. Checking battery level (eco-drive charged by any light source) and whether or not the watch received its last radio signal are also a one-button touch deal. If the radio signal indicator shows "NO" to last signal receipt, simply hold down the bottom right button for 2 seconds to manually initiate radio signal search. The slide rule bezel rotation occurs under the glass and although it functions smoothly and adds a touch of class to the watch, the markings are a little on the small side and are defficult to read unless you are sitting perfectly still. Not ideal for in-flight conditions so minus half a star for that. As there is no LED illumination, I would like to have seen a longer lasting, tritium-type hand and hour indicator illumination material. However, this is more of a dress-watch and the roughly 3 hours of illumination it provides is more than adequate. Minus another half star for that. The strap and clasp are quality and are brushed stainless steel. The weight is comfortable, this size looks just right on the wrist and the blue face with yellow accents compliment the watch perfectly and really make it "pop". An all round great watch! I have no regrets and other than the two little things I mentioned, no complaints either. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.
I purchased this watch around 12 _15 years ago. I'm Not good with dates..I Purchased it on a cruise ship. After blowing through a rolex sea dwealler in 7 years time, I decided to get something more practical. I also have 2 sons in the navy. This watch has never left my wrist. I only take it off at the airport. I'm the hardest person ever on watches. They stay on when i Shower, grind stone, sand and deliver cabinets, spray finishes etc.. I am in the construction industry and do wood working full time and masonry work on the side. Specifically stone walls. I've gone through 3 bands. Once while stacking rock the watch hit a stone and the band broke. There's nobody who's harder on watches than me. This watch is just barely losing time. I'm going to send it in for maintenance. Hopefully it's not too far gone. Regardless it's still outlasted my previous rolex and everything else. The Sapphire crystal is still in excellent shape . Which reallyblows my mind. Kudos to Citizen and Japanese quality. Note * inexpensive and even swiss $200 watches generally break on my wrist within 3_9 months.
I bought this watch three years ago, not knowing how beautiful this watch is I have an Apple Watch and I don’t even wear it that much because I love my citizens watch so much. I wear it constantly. I’ve gotten three citizen watches and everyone out does the other excellent excellent watch
Bought my Citizen Blue Angel on a Cruise in 2012 and have been wearing it almost daily for 13 years. Always keeps accurate time and has never needed servicing. Worn it swimming and cycling with no issues what so ever. I have even dropped it a few times and still keeps a tickin'. I highly recommend this watch.
I was tempted to buy elsewhere and save a few bucks. But I decided to buy from Citizen directly even at a premium. That said, this watch is near perfection! What a tribute to the Blue Angels!

This watch is not only beautiful, but the technology is awesome; it has a solar-powered battery that never needs replacing, which is a huge plus! Its accuracy, dependability, and looks are all exceptional!
Out of all my watches this is the one I wear 90% of the time. The reliability has been flawless for the 4 years I have owned it. I hope someday Citizen makes a Thunderbird version.
