Beautiful watch

This is my first fancy watch, I’m not a guy to make big purchases like this, but here we are. I purchased based on brand reputation and aesthetics only, figuring I could just ‘figure everything else out.’ Blown away is an understatement. It’s stunning, and once I read the manual (it’ll be online), even I got everything the way I wanted it in minutes. The size guide was a little off for me, but my local store fixed it for less than $6. I cannot stop looking at it, and I can’t wait to show it off. I’m only one day in, but the warranty sits peacefully in the back of my mind.

Love this watch except

Purchased this watch several months ago and love it except I'm disappointed with it. Almost once a week I have to manually reset it, the time just doesn't keep up. The reset process is not easy. I went to a watch repair center to have the band adjusted and asked for his help only to be told he never figured it out. I tried several online sources and did find one that I could follow. Don't know the issue. A few functions either do not work or I cannot figure how they work. The slide rule function, the bezel should rotate but it does not. Overall I like the watch but wish it performed like it should.

Nice watch....but

I'm actually an aviator and bought this in part to replace the aviators watch that I formerly had, but died after about 22 years of daily use. My previous Citizens watch was also a chronograph, but had the addition of a rotating bezel, making the use of the imprinted numbers that I used as a sort of timer, while in flight easy. This watch comes with E6B functionality. But in reality, it's not very useful. First off the number are very small, and difficult to see in full daylight while stationary. They would be next to impossible to see in flight, especially in the small airplanes that I fly, due to normal turbulence and cockpit vibration. Curiously, the E6B slide rule flight calculator is left handed oriented. In that, you would either need to take the watch off to rotate the rotating E6B slide rule, put the watch on your right arm then rotate the E6B with your left hand, or do some rather interesting cross over using your right hand to rotate the dial with the mechanism on the left side of the watch. The rest of the watch is rather intuitive, but the video on this website for this watch doesn't really apply My watch also for some reason does not have lumens on the hour or minute hands nor on the 12 hour hashes. But..if you are buying this to use as a watch, it's a good one. If you are buying this to actually use as an E6B flight computer, get the JY that looks to have a bezel that can be manually rotated using either hand. I'll be sending this back, if I can. We'll see.

Magnificent

I just love this time piece, I have already put this watch through some major stress already. I never take it off my wrists. I have always loved this particular model, but couldn't afford it. But now that I own it, I see what all the fuss is about. Thanks Citizen I

What a great tribute!

Beautiful construction and high end look. Wore it to hops and props at museum of flight this past Saturday. Can’t believe it took me so long to find out there was a blue angels citizen!

Best watch I have ever owned

Bought my Citizen Blue Angel on a Cruise in 2012 and have been wearing it almost daily for 13 years. Always keeps accurate time and has never needed servicing. Worn it swimming and cycling with no issues what so ever. I have even dropped it a few times and still keeps a tickin'. I highly recommend this watch.
