I received this watch and my first impression was that it is a very good looking watch. I put it on and it looked good on my wrist, felt good, and at first I was very pleased with the purchase. When trying to read it, the glare coming off of the crystal was just too much; making it difficult to tell what time it was. Then that evening, I noticed that neither the dial or the hands were luminous; I honestly didn't think there were any analog watches with non-luminous dials. I returned the watch.
I like this watch. It is stylish and impressive looking. It is large and heavy/substantial, as I expected. It arrived with about a 50% power level and ambient room light would not increase the level. I put it outside in strong, direct sunlight for several hours and that topped it off. Ambient room light now keeps the power level at or near 100%. It updates regularly with the atomic clock and thus keeps very accurate time. (I have another watch with this feature, and they stay within one half of a second of one another). The watch has two, related problems. Depending on the intensity and angle of the light, I get a lot of glare off the face. It produces flares that look like a dozen extra hands, especially on the sub dials. I’m learning to deal with it, but it is annoying – almost sent it back on day one. The second issue is the sweep second hand. It is very narrow and that along with the glare make it hard to see, especially at first glance. When the light angle is just so, it shows up bright silver. I think a different color, perhaps red, would help with the problem. Not knowing other people’s tastes, I rarely recommend anything, especially something as personal as a watch. If asked, I give the pros and cons and let them decide (see above). In this case if you want a handsome watch that keep very accurate time and you can deal with the glare issue, go for it. I’m still deciding.
Nice metalic look and super glass. Functions are multiple and easy to adjust time during travel. However, it was better if dial size was bigger and if we can use it in dark.
Has everything I want except glow-in-the-dark hands and numerals
