Great watch, but I can’t read it

I got this watch as a Christmas gift about 2 years ago, and it is a BEAUTIFUL piece of jewelry. The problem I have is that in a lot of lighting situations I can’t see the hands, therefore I can’t tell the time. Also, because the hands don’t glow in the dark, it is useless at night. I would love to wear this watch more often, but I can’t.

One of my favourite watches BUT

This is my second Citizen and will not be my last as I am pleased with the brands performance and looks. BUT, as others have said, this is the worst watch in my collection to read the time from and to read the date is nigh on impossible. Sorry Citizen but you still have me as a customer.

Goes haywire if it doesn't get atomic clock signal

I bought this because I wanted something more stylish than my Casio Solar Atomic Watch, which hasn't missed a beat in over 10 years. I also have a Stiletto, which I am very happy with. The Citizen started going haywire if it didn't get a signal. I sent it back to Citizen for repair, only to be told it was fine and that I wasn't charging it properly. I worked for a couple weeks. Then, it started going haywire again. The time it sets is some random time that ins't accurate anywhere in the world. In the mean time, my trust old Casio keeps setting the proper time every day. Also, like many other reviews, I love the rose gold, but it it very difficult to read. The glare is terrible.

GREAT STYLE, TERRIBLE FEATURES

I bought this watch almost 2 years ago, it was working perfectly but suddenly now I cannot set the time by own, since the time set by the watch itself is wrong, plus the battery does not last as it used to be at the beggining, it is stopping every time

Citizen Response I am sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. I would suggest to try charging the watch. You will need to sit it in a window sill that gets good direct sunlight/daylight for a few days. You may see the watch start to work after a few hours, however, continue to let the watch sit to charge. After a few days of sunlight/daylight, you can then complete a reset if and set the time and date. If you have tried this and the watch is still not working, then I can only suggest to send the watch to our facility for evaluation and repair.
