There's something about a gold watch.
We used to get one when we retired, we wear them for the most formal of occasions.
It's not that other colors aren't at home in a formal setting, but something about gold set's it apart. Even if it isn't really gold.

The watch is not particularly rugged with it's 30m water resistance and mineral glass crystal, but then again it's not designed to be worn anywhere where ruggedness is a consideration.
I like this watch very much but must admit I like the silver and gray version a bit better for it's versatility. But sometimes you just need a gold watch, and this one fits the bill perfectly. And it won't empty your wallet.
