Great Retro Look, balanced between sport & dress
When I first got the watch I was expecting a traditional band. What I got was a leather strap which has a clasp at the bottom. You can change the size by putting the pin into a hole of the strap. The problem is my had is big and I either have a strap that is too loose, or very hard to get over my hands onto my wrist.
The price $795 doesn't break the bank, and you do get a good bang for the buck.
This watch does have an integrated wide lug, which looks nice, but isn't quite as comfortable as my other Citizen watches.
The sapphire crystal set about 1/8" higher than my other watches and gives it that magnifying glass look when looking at an angle.
I like the crown position because when I bend my wrist it doesn't dig into my hand.
The 45mm stainless steel case is classy, not too big, and very smart looking.
The dial is either going to be liked or disliked by people. I like it. It's not too busy, and well balanced. The large charge indicator seems to be a bit much at first, but quickly becomes what I take it as well balanced. Though you won't use the charge indicator much (once it is charged), it is easy to see, and know if you need to get the watch exposed to light.
This is an Eco-Drive, which is a quartz watch powered by light, so you should never need a battery. Since this has the benefit of having functionality without mechanical components, it actually makes the watch more affordable.
This is actually a very nice daily watch, that is different enough that everyone doesn't have one.
It has a good balance between sport & dress.
