I have many watches in my collection, but these days only two of them get any wrist time: a grail piece I picked up 7 months ago that cost more than ten times this watch, and this stunning Citizen Caliber 2100. The renders do not do this watch justice -- in person, the case and bracelet are just perfect. It's one of the relatively few solar-powered watches on the market that has a 12-hour chronograph. The alarm is not particularly loud, but after a few days, I found myself (usually) waking up for it -- it's super handy for timing parking, laundry, etc. Power reserve arrived one tick away from full, charged to full in just a couple hours, and hasn't moved since -- gotta love Eco-Drive! The sapphire crystal is thick and durable and can take a beating (trust me), and 200m of water resistance to boot -- what more could you want? I guess some would say "a milled clasp!", but honestly, this stamped one is quite comfortable despite the lack of micro-adjustments. I'm not confident a milled one would be this comfortable(!). And that beautiful panda dial, with the integrated bracelet... you really have to see it in person to appreciate how awesome a design it is. This is absolutely Citizen at their best, and the price is reasonable for what you get. It probably shouldn't be a limited edition. If Citizen has ever produced a design classic, the Caliber 2100 is it. Don't ever stop making these, Citizen! Actually, come to think of it, this is the only watch in my collection that has ever gotten compliments -- three times to be exact! Any watch lover will tell you that basically never happens :)

Pure class watch. I have owned mine since 2006. Finally replaced the capacitor and had the sapphire changed.
I love every detail about this watch, except the date window. The actual window is too small for the numerals, or the numerals are too large for the window, take your pick. It's difficult to discern what the actual date is due to this fact.

This has been the best watch I have ever owned. I had it for many years it had the crystal replace once other then that it's take the abuse I have given it.
I’ve had this watch since 2005, it’s been in a combat zone and has never failed me. I particularly like the alarm. My favorite, most reliable timepiece. Excellent feel; solid, rugged, yet classy. I can’t say about the quality of this watch. The best watch I’ve ever owned.
Expert craftsmanship made for perfection by skill expected by Citizen. The panda like face gets noticed.
I was looking to treat myself to a new watch when this beauty captured my eye and wouldn’t let go. So I ordered mine on Friday directly from Citizen and was received on Tuesday. Customer service was awesome. I had a few questions and Sylvia F. responded promptly and will clarity.. I was so happy that my Caliber 2100 was even better looking in person than in the pictures on any website. I have several watches and two multi watch display boxes but I keep it in its own beautiful display box with the commemorative Caliber 2100 Limited Addition plates with serial number which is a great touch that I was not expecting. Classy, beautiful and unbeatable functionality. My new favorite watch…

I was debating on purchasing a used Citizen 2100 on ebay with the mineral crystal but when I found out the Citizen was relaunching the 2100 with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, I had to have it. The 2100 is a classic design that wears very well even though it is a 44mm diameter watch. It's not too top heavy and weighs in at only 124 grms with 2 links removed. I suggest taking advantage of the free sizing because the pin and collar link system is not for the novice. The 2100 is a hand-assembled solar-powered mechanical-quartz movement which means it always has the correct time that never needs winding, and the second had sweeps when the mechanical chronograph is engaged. In my opinion, this is the perfect blend of technology, design, and beauty. Great job Citizen always a cut above.

I love the brand and own several. But this watch is notable for its design and quality. Can't stop wearing it, and can't stop following the brand and getting excited with the new releases.
I have worn my original version of this watch for.a couple of decades and still love it. The only service ever needed was to replace the capacitor a few years ago...not bad to service every few decades!
