First class timepiece

A couple of points to make before getting into it. 1. The leather strap is actually a hybrid/stainless strap 2. The rose gold is much more a traditional gold colour. I should say that in the past I have 2 issues I have to overcome when buying a watch, the strap has to be leather and as I have such a small wrist I tend to find a lack of adjustment for that "just right" feel. The hybrid strap I was initially disappointed about but upon wearing for just an hour, I have to say that it works really well, very secure and also plenty of adjustment for a good fit and no pinching which is the problem I have faced with metal straps in the past. The look of the watch is first class, the photo on the website does not convey how sharp it looks, I cannot stop looking at it!!!!!! The day/date display is a little small for my eyes but any larger I feel would ruin the overall look so I'm not complaining.

The Incredible ROLAN watch by CITIZEN WATCH Co.

I purchased this incredible ROLAN watch by Citizen as a stand-in while my Citizen Dive Watch is being given some attention after 20 hard years of wear. The ROLAN is beautiful on the wrist, better looking than even its pictures. It is sophisticated, eloquent and purposeful in appearance. It is as functional as it is attractive. Yes the ROLAN has a sapphire crystal, separate day & date windows and is water resistant to 100 meters. It is slim and the perfect size, not too big or too small at 40mm. The padded allegator- embossed leather strap with a metal butterfly closure is the most comfortable I have ever worn. The ROLAN keeps very precise time, and the second hand aligns exactly with the hour markers. The lack of the 'sun-ray' effect coupled with luminous hands enable the ROLAN to be highly legible and versatile. This watch is worth it at twice the MSRP. The ROLAN is a winner! ...Dr. C ... ...N`est Pas!

It is a beautiful watch; extremely high quality! Unfortunately I had to return it because it was too big for my wrist. I really wish I could have kept it! It is a really classy watch!

Buy this watch because:

This watch has it all! A simple, elegant, easy to read face that’s a beautiful blue color. No visual noise confusing you as your trying to discern the time. Three hands with excellent lumes and the day and the date situated where they should be. Water resistant to 100 feet. A classy, leather deployment band and of course citizens genius Eco drive. But the feature that did it for me was the sapphire crystal! What a nice touch. Much better than a mineral crystal.All in all a fantastic watch for the money. Citizen is the best!l

Great watch

I purchased two of these watches and so far they have been an excellent choice, they look professional and are good quality. I did read a prior review about not liking the clasp vs the standard strap style buckle and was pleasantly surprised how easy the clasp worked – it also has the benefit of the clasp taking the stress off the strap and onto the clasp which should help the leather strap last longer. It took about thirty seconds to learn how operate but I do like the option!

Love the watch

I liked the watch the first time I saw it in the display. When I compared it to other more expensive watches I still choose this watch. The other watches were twice the price. I was prepared to pay much more but this watch was my choice. One complaint. The following is in the details of the watcch: AW0096-06L:Water-Resistance WR100/10Bar/333ft [Swimming, Showering & Snorkeling] when I questioned this on your website the help assistant said the leather band will not hold up to this specification. I think you need to clarify this in the watch details. Thanks

Loved the Watch

Very elegant and stylish. This is the kind I have been looking for. It goes well with casual or professional dresses. People will notice from a far how stylish it is. Good decent price. This watch is the gift I bought for myself and I am loving it.
