I bought this watch thinking it had lume and could glow in the dark-it can't, fair warning. It is still amazingly cool-looking, but the actual watch face is surprisingly dark. The blue and red of the lightsabers don't pop-the colors are dark enough they blend into the black unless you look carefully. The grey background is also a little darker than this photograph makes it look, and overall it makes this watch regrettably hard to read. I'm keeping it because I still think it's cool, but it's one of those watches where you look at it and know if they'd chosen the colors a little more carefully for legibility you'd be wearing it ten times more often than you do. I intended this to be my 'go everywhere' watch when I bought it. As-is I'm rarely wearing it.
I bought this watch thinking it had lume and would glow in the dark (seemed reasonable given the lightsaber hands) but fair warning, it doesn't. Also with the silver numerals, the medium grey background, and the darker-than-you'd-expect red and blue colors on the hour and minute hands, it's fairly easy to hold this watch at an angle where it's hard to read. The 12,6, and 9 will often sort of disappear into the grey dial when the light hits it right, and in dimmer indoor areas I struggle more at reading this watch than other citizen watches I have. I'm keeping it because it's still cool, but I wear it less than I expected to when I bought it just because I know other watches I own are more legible.
Citizen "Dual" Star Wars Men's watch is the perfect gift for a young adult.
