Was looking at two different models but decided on the black and blue weekender. Couldn’t be happier. Looks great and is just the right weight and size.
I bought this watch at a certified Citizen dealer on the boardwalk of Ocean City Maryland. The woman running the shop was very friendly and helpful! I was worried this 41mm watch would be too big for my 6.5" wrist, but when worn, it looks great. I wouldn't go much bigger than 41mm so this helped me know my limit. It looks very elegant, and also sporty. It's a good watch to wear practically anytime. Works great too. This is my first Citizen watch, and probably wont be my last.
Very quality material, it looks great, and it feels great. With Citizen it'll definitely last a while.
DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. Finish will rub off band and case within a week or two of normal use. Customer service told me tough luck and they would replace it with the same trash band it came with, but would not replace the watch case.

Love my new watch. After working with Brenda in your Customer Support area and getting two additional links everything is great. Local jeweler had no problems with making the bank the correct size. Keeps excellent time, as I would expect. My first Citizen watch.
Despite some reviews indicating a misrepresentation of the blue in the photo, I received my watch and it looks exactly like it does in the photo on the website. Its an awesome simplistic and stylish watch. I dislike all the new age techy stuff, so this is the perfect watch for me. Love it!

A watch that has been in my ownership about seven days should function properly. It does. However, I feel it would be best in the interest of Citizen to ask consumers to rate or review the product at least a year or two after purchase to give the owners of your product a fair time to evaluate the watch. I can not say for sure that the watch is totally dependable, totally functional and totally reliable because I don't know at this time, I have had it only a week. I purchased the watch assuming it is totally dependable, functional, and reliable for years to come, but I don't know. Please ask me next November or November 2022 and I will be happy to give an evaluation.
I have very basic requirements for a watch: bracelet style, not digital, luminous, traditional looking, round, second hand, and date. And, not completely made in china. I looked at so many that had extra dials, or open faces revealing the gears, many of which obscured the time, more buttons than I could count, rotating bezels, and after selecting several for a second look realized that they did not meet my requirements. Sure, they did more, that did not mean they exceeded my requirements. I found several which exactly matched my needs, especially this EcoDrive AW1147-52L. It nailed everything I wanted, with no extra thingamajigs to muck up the watch. Ordered with a 10% discount and the sizing option. Received with no damage. The sizing, however, was way off. The sizing sheet and instructions don't really work. Citizen took out 4 links and I put 2 back in for a perfect fit. I figured Citizen would get this right and save me the trouble. They didn't. I could've bought a bit cheaper at the A place since I ended up correcting the adjustment work Now, the color. The picture shows a gorgeous blue ring and face. That's not what you're going to get. At first I thought the watch was completely grey, not that I minded. On closer examination, the watch bezel ring (the one with minute marks) is a nice metallic blue, but the blue is really only visible when the watch is held just right with the light. The face is nothing but grey. So keep that in mind. I prefer the more grey look, anyway. Can't say anything about accuracy, or how long it will run, because I just received it an hour ago. The bottom line is that this a very nice looking watch, exactly what I wanted in appearance and features. I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.
Gave as a birthday present. My husband loved it. Arrived in the mail very quickly. Boxed and presented beautifully. Thank you for a great watch. I will be buying more again soon!
Great daily watch.nice weight and solid build quality for price. You have to set the day on months with less than 31 days but no big deal, easy to do. I love this watch.it's subtle but unique.
