I have now replaced the costly 'rubber' band 3 times. In the most recent failure, the band simply dried out and the weight of the watch caused it to break at the buckle. These bands are simply junk. If I had only encountered a problem with the original band I would, have considered it a fluke, but after 3 successive failures one would think the problem is pervasive and he design needs to be reconsidered. Unfortunately my wife purchased a similar blue watch for me with the same band. I'm hesitant to even wear it for fear it will break as well. While I have at least a half dozen Citizen watches, I will never purchase another with a band made of rubber...and when I say costly, I mean the replacement bands can cost nearly $100 when purchased from watch repair shops - this was several year ago and I do not know the current cost. FYI, I really like Citizen watches and will continue to purchase them, but never one with a rubber band.
I've had the watch for about 2 years. Set the time to GPS time about a year ago and it is less than a second off. J810 movement is super accurate! The only issue and not really a big one, is the silicone band can easily slip out of the strap retainers and flap around while wearing it.
Very nice watch. Simple and comfortable would highly recommend
Bought this about a week ago and can not believe how nice this watch looks both casual and dressy casual. I wear it with suits or jeans and it’s nice
