great watch

I purchased this watch as I needed a dressier option for more formal occasions. All my watches are solar powered and I love not having to worry about dead batteries. The only issue is that the band just barely fits my wrist. I'll be buying a longer band to fix that.

Great watch

I've been an Eco-Drive customer for almost 2 decades. The ease of use of these watches is great (never have to worry about batteries) and their durability & resilience are incredible at the price. I needed a simple black dress watch, so I went straight to the Citizen web site & the Eco-Drive collection. Found exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback to the analog watches is that the day/date feature doesn't factor in months with less than 31 days, so you have to manually adjust this setting some months. Nailing down the date to the correct 24-hour rotation can be a little tricky, too. Mild inconveniences for the quality & performance of these watches. Oh, and they look great! Love 'em!

Citizen Black Strap Eco-Drive Watch

Very nice watch, especially for the price. The rose gold accents with the silver/white dial on a stainless steel case look amazing. My only criticism is the watch is not available with a sapphire crystal nor is a sapphire crystal available for replacement.

I bought the watch as a birthday gift for my friend Peter. He loved a CITIZEN watch. I picked it for it's elegant Beverly Hills look but didn't realize it never needed a battery till after I bought it! The watch I had previously given him was showing signs of aging AND NOW NEEDED BATTERY REPLACEMENT OFTEN. This is the only watch he liked better... because it was a CITIZEN, and the Bev Hills LOOK, a tiny bit larger, easier to read, and it never needs a battery. I looked for a month on line as well. I said "wow", it never needs a battery so you won't have that problem ever again. He would not surrender his other watch and refused to give it up, till he saw this one and loves the fact that it never needs a battery.
