I bought the watch as a birthday gift for my friend Peter. He loved a CITIZEN watch. I picked it for it's elegant Beverly Hills look but didn't realize it never needed a battery till after I bought it! The watch I had previously given him was showing signs of aging AND NOW NEEDED BATTERY REPLACEMENT OFTEN. This is the only watch he liked better... because it was a CITIZEN, and the Bev Hills LOOK, a tiny bit larger, easier to read, and it never needs a battery. I looked for a month on line as well. I said "wow", it never needs a battery so you won't have that problem ever again. He would not surrender his other watch and refused to give it up, till he saw this one and loves the fact that it never needs a battery.

great watch

I purchased this watch as I needed a dressier option for more formal occasions. All my watches are solar powered and I love not having to worry about dead batteries. The only issue is that the band just barely fits my wrist. I'll be buying a longer band to fix that.

Strap is not too short!

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and use the second smallest setting on the strap. I got this after I got the gold with brown strap version. It's simple and classy. Although I like the gold better

Good, but could be improved

Solid watch that is well presented. I would improve the date function. The date is to deeply recessed in the watch which creates shadows, combined with its small size make it hard to see. Raising the date dial and increasing its size would make this watch so much nicer.

Thank you for getting my response. I've been looking for a stainless watch with a white face, date and day. This one is good. the price is right. I like the Eco Drive. However, the calendar is so small I can't even read it.The hands don't particularly stand out either. They're not bold enough. If you have something closer to what I'm looking for, I'd be happy to trade.I know the quality is good, but it doesn't fill my needs the way I'd like

Date window is too small.

Most citizen watches have a darker face so that it's hard to see at night. Also, the date window is so small that it's hard to read for seniors.

Nice watch

I bought this 4months ago for my dad, he like it alot, it is simple yet classic for him.

Feels good around the wrist

Lense scratches easy and the band needs to be a little bit longer. It does feel good around the wrist.

Classic

Christmas gift. Very classic and classy watch. Band is nice, but a bit stiff.
