Bought it on a Disney cruise. Got a great deal. Would get 5 stars if it had a canvas band that was a little longer
Love the design of the watch with the exception of the band and buckle. Watch band does not have the flexibility of the other rubber straps. Difficult to unbuckle.
Another high quality watch from Citizen; can't go wrong with this product. I was very excited to learn about the Marvel line coming from Citizen, but disappointed first by their choice of watch band and second with lack of creativity of watchface. Ultimately, Captain America is one of my favorite Marvel characters so purchased anyways. Green CAMO... really? At least for me, this just seemed like a let down. I would have envisioned a black camo watchband to really make the watch face pop or even something in a red/white/blue theme to go with the Captain's shield. Even a flat-black, from the military-styled 'Chandler' or blue that matching shield color better choice. Either case, I thought that the green camo missed the mark and I'm searching for a watchband upgrade. Watch face: Compared with others in the Marvel series, the most plain design. Avengers symbol and Captain's shield on otherwise plain black face. Again, MARVELously higher expectations were not met.
I bought Captain America watch and the Spiderman watch (a birthday gift for my son) just after the Marvel line became available. I have been a fan of Citizen watches for over 20 years, as I hate having batteries replaced. I currently own an older titanium atomic perpetual calendar model (PCAT A-T equivalent) as well as black ion model (stainless steel). I bought one for my wife as well. While I love the Captain America watch in general, it has what I consider to be a design flaw. After wearing the watch for about two weeks, the crown was apparently pulled out after pulling something out of my pocket, thus stopping the watch. I don't like that at all. It seems the what I call mushroom-shape-without-side-protection crown makes it all to easy to experience this situation. I have purchesed the Avengers model as a replacement with which I am very happy.
