Citizen PRT EcoDrive

I bought this watch on Nov 6,2017. I received it a week later. A Great Watch, fantastic looks and style. A great time piece. Luminous hands and markers included. I would highly recommend this watch to any watch buyer.

Reflections

This is a very nice looking watch and I enjoyed the strap once I got it situated just right. However, the lines on the face (that I assume are the cells that power the watch) catch light and reflect it in an odd way which made it difficult to read unless you held the watch right up to your face and got it just right. Also, it’s the same weight as another Eco Drive I have but, this one felt extremely heavy on my wrist. Ended up returning this watch.

Great watch except for the band

I recently purchased a number of citizen solar watches for both men and women. All of them run fast by around 3 or 4 seconds per month at room temperature. This watch is exceptional except the end of the watch band became frayed in less than a week of wear. And the frayed end prevented it from being worn. So what I did was coat the frayed end in some glue called Goop.. and after it dried the watch is wearable again. It would be welcomed if they provided more watches with metal bracelets.

Great Christmas Gift to Myself

A great value, from a watch guy who usually spends a lot more. I would give is an A-minus only because the vertical lines embedded in the crystal that are a bit distracting.
