I love this watch and am proud to wear it. It has become my favorite out of the 35 or so that I have. My only reservation is that the bezel appears so dark as to be black rather than navy blue. But it is truly a remarkable instrument with rotating slide rule dial, perpetual calendar, and the fact that it never needs winding or battery, since it is powered by light. I may get another Blue Angel's model eventually ...
It has Americans gawking all day. Great steel blue dial sets it apart from other metals in the watch industry by far my most honorable piece of my uniform....A must have! Thank you citizens team.
The watch wears smaller than its size and is not as busy in person. The strap is a bit stiff and on the small size for a 200mm wrist. I wish Citizen had some Nato straps to go with some of their watches, my old dive watch came with one 15 years ago.
this watch is a most distinguished piece of art.great quality and even if made in Japan its unbelievable how it keeps it's time. I don't understand why it only as 3 and a half note.can't believe the people out there it's time you wake up and smell the coffee loll.Ihad a Rolex Submarine and you just pay for the name.I had this watch sent to Rolex about 3 times. cost me a fortune. this nighthawk has great features and stunning. I get more compliments on this watch then my Rolex. on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 9 easy thank you citizen for such a great watch.
I've been looking at purchasing this particular citizens watch for quite some time. I received an email from Citizens making me aware of the great sale price. My only concern was Citizens offered free 2-day delivery. UPS did not get it to for 6 days (not Citizens fault). I know not to order at this time of year again.
This is my second Eco-Drive watch. SkyHawk and Nighthawk. The Nighthawk I stored in a box while I moved. When I opened the box two months later the Eco-Drive system had stopped working. Citizen told me it could not be repaired. Once dead it was dead forever. My fault, but I did not expect this to happen. The SkyHawk (the Blue Angels model) i purchased as a gift. It was working at the time of purchase. I left the watch in a sunlit room for about 3 weeks, prior to the event. When I went to give the watch it stopped working. I took it to the store and was told the same thing citizen told me before. Once dead always dead. No fix. Stay away.
