I purchased this watch as a gift to myself. In the last year it’s spent more time in for service than on my wrist. Now it’s going back again for the same issue. Leaks water and will fog up.
Watch seems fine but the web set up is horrible. I will probably return the watch and not purchased another citizen watch due to their set up procedure.
It’s a beautiful watch.. but, if you have a small arms.. it will be disappointing because it will be heavy and look big on you and will hurt or bruise your wrist.
I’m a commercial diver and dive in various environments. First time I took this watch on a murky dive I noticed the bezel won’t spin anymore, most likely from the murky stuff? I contacted Citizen multiple times and have not received a reply back. Last watch I buy from them unfortunately as I own 5 of them.
I wear a wristwatch 24/7, always have and I am a certified PADI divemaster. The best dive watch on the planet taking into consideration dependability and cost is Citizen. I own 2 of them. My 15 year old Divers 200m and my ECOZILLA. They are tuff as nails and I swim anywhere in any condition with either one. Zeroed to the second with world time and I also upgrade all of mine with a submersible strap compass. If u live outdoors, this is a must have!
I have had this watch for 14 years now. It has served me well during my deployments to Iraq, and Afghanistan. It is tough and reliable, I never once thought that it would last me this long without some type of mechanical issue.
4 star due to the band, oddly I own the 1000 m pro master diver with exactly the same band and it’s a thicker, bulkier watch yet is more comfortable, seems like this watch loves to fall to the side (L) wrist so either you wear it uncomfortably snug or loose and it falls to the side, so it’s very heavy watch… still love citizen I have 3 promaster citizen. Fantastic watch company. Again, 7” wrist so maybe if your wrist is slightly bigger it might fit just right without feeling like it’s cutting of the blood supply to your hand.

Exceeded my expectations! Build quality is superb. Case is well-engineered, very solid, and perfect design for me: everything I want, nothing I don't. The second hand is also very precise, synching perfectly to the dial marks. Flawless product all around, as proven by my jewelry loupe! My first Eco-Drive was purchased 27+ years ago and is still running perfectly. Citizen is hands-down superior in quality & design to a fellow big name Japanese watchmaker. It just feels better built.
