I bought this watch from the onboard sales while having a Caribbean cruise. I have owned Citizen watches since the '70's and am impressed by the quality. This is my first eco-drive and am pleased by the features (I admit that I really have to pause the video in order to go through the different features). I was so please that I bought a second ec-drive watch for one of my sons.
I love it but the band it wasn't very safe and it break in 2 peaces. Now i can't find a replacement. I will have to buy a metal one
I bought this watch because it resembles a Cartier Must 21 Chronoscaph quartz at a much lower price. The watch is great, however it did not come with an instruction manual, the features are advanced and confusing. Citizen was great about delivery and then sending a manual. The size was a little big and the authorized dealer had to cut the rubber to size it to my wrist, and since it's a rubber/polymer material it doesn't form well and is a little off shape compared to metal or steel type bands that will wrap around the wrist... Overall it's a great looking watch, but a little pricey for what you get.
I have had this watch for 4 years and the first band broke in 2 years. I had figured that it may have been just been from an active lifestyle. Now 2 years later again and the band is nearly torn through again. (I have enjoyed this watch so much that it almost never came off my wrist so I do not understand how the tears form..) I had figured that for the near $1000 I spent on the watch, especially a watch advertised as a sporty/active one, that I would get well beyond 4 years of enjoyment. If I buy another band it will cost $200+ again so unfortunately I will just invest in another watch.. Cant even begin to state how disappointed I am in the watch because of this. I have loved the watch and gotten countless compliments over the years. I seriously would get lost looking at it when the light struck it. The face still looks brand new, some minor scratches from wear and now it is a shame that I wont be able to wear it much longer. It'll just make a really nice paper weight that continues to keep extremely accurate time. Don't buy this watch. You'll fall in love with it but it will just break your heart in the end.
