I can’t seem to get the date working properly after many tries
I have worn my new watch for the last few days. Love the eco drive, and it seems quite accurate. As expected from the pictures, the watch is pretty with the subtle green face and contrast stitching on the band. Docking one star because the watch is unexpectedly big for this traditional style of field watch. While I like it, some may find the non traditional size slightly jarring. Just be aware.
Had this for about a month now, primarily as a watch for work. Overall it seems to be a reliable and attractive daily watch. Pros: Accurate quartz (has lost about 1s in a month), clear and easy to read in daylight, nicely finished case and quality leather strap. Cons: Lume is below average - only the hands have it applied and it's nowhere near as bright as others (like my Seiko dive watch). Also the 24-hour time indicators are tiny, and even with my glasses on they're almost impossible to read - Citizen should have made them much larger or left them off entirely.
In this highly functional military-style watch, the numerals are not luminous but the hands are. You can read the time even in total darkness. The strap is genuine leather and is thick and robust. Its quartz action keeps excellent time, gains about 3 seconds a month -- well within parameters for a quartz action. It looks good -- not fancy, but a good, attractive design.
