The sapphire dial face is so dark it looks black nothing like the pictures Citizen post on their web site. Very disappointed because of this

Beautiful watch, but I have trouble reading the time and more trouble reading the date. I wanted a gold tone watch and picked from an online catalog. I should have tried to find one at a local dealer.
Looks amazing! Date has been off (changing early) and the sizing tool was a little off but overall a great buy!!
I bought this watch as a Christmas gift, so I don't have my husband's review, but this watch is STUNNING. The face is a VERY deep blue which is gorgeous, and the band is a really beautiful bright gold. I know he's going to love this watch. My husband got very into watches this past year and this one is just about everything he wanted and more. This is the first Citizen Watch I have ever purchased, but after the experience I had it won't be the last. The watch arrived only two days after ordering, and the packaging is very nice. I can't wait to give him a watch I'm sure will be a very fast favorite of his.
This watch is absolutely beautiful. I have no complaints at all, I’ve had another citizen watch for over 10 years and it’s eco as well and it’s lasted all this time with no problems at all. This is one of my favorite watch brands!
