Purchased this to replace my old Citizen which looked similar. This is slightly larger, not a big deal. In comparison to the one it replaces, discontinued, it is bigger. The strap is also less flexible due to a, to my mind, cheaper design. All for more money, yeah. We'll see how this holds up. Like the titanium weight advantage. Somewhat difficult with tiny inner pieces of strap to adjust the length, Took a few tries to get it right. (Last one the innards got messed up, don't know how, jeweler said it can't be fixed.)
Watch is very nice, but arrived with a blemish on the watch face and ended up returning. Bought for a specific event and was unable to wear it, so ended up just returning and not requesting an exchange.
This is a nice titanium sport watch especially at this price point. The dial color and texture is a nice touch, and the integrated bracelet looks sharp. The date is a little small and hard to read. I’m a bit underwhelmed with the performance of the Super Titanium…it does scratch easily and doesn’t seem to be any more scratch resistant than any other raw titanium watch…and less so than better coated watches I own. This would be a five star watch in my mind if the scratch resistant coating lived up to its claims. At this price point for titanium and the overall look and feel of the watch I’m still happy with my purchase for a nice sporty daily that looks good with jeans and a polo and is also dressy enough for a work meeting in a sport coat.
I bought this watch a year ago. It was the first watch I bought in many years. My first reaction was that it was too big so I bought a smaller one from Brand S. I wore this Citizen off and on and as time went on I liked it more. My favorite aspects are how the bright parts catch the light (sides of Hour markers, bezel, outline of hands, and bright trim on bracelet). I also like with light weight and how well the sapphire crystal holds up. The watch gets a lot more wrist time now and it got me started in a new hobby collecting watches. It's still larger than I would like so I hope Citizen starts making more watches around 38mm.
The watch is beautiful. It was too tight on my wrist as it came so I added a link. The clasp doesn't micro adjust. Now it is too loose. Unfortunately when I called Citizen I found out that a half link or adjustable clasp isn't available for the Paradigm.
Other than the calendar date being very small, an outstanding, comfortable, attractive wristwatch.
The watch is as described and the looks awesome. I like the titanium look and weight. My only issue is that the watch band wasn’t fitted given that I provided my wrist dimensions during purchase. Now I have to wait until a watch shop opens to get the band fitted. Not easy in convid-19 time.
It's a great watch except the grinding noise coming from the bracelet links...
My 20 year old Eco Drive finally said "goodbye." I found an older 25 year old one in my bureau, put in a new battery and it started right away. I sent the Eco Drive to Citizen repair. I was contacted by them saying the Citizen Eco Drive was not able to be repaired. They sent a letter with a credit I could use when buying a new Citizen watch. Eventually, I found the Eco Drive model I wanted, ordered it, using the credit dollars. I am most pleased with my new purchase. Customer Service was great. The representative helped complete my order process in a most professional manner. Thank you Citizen!
