Purchased this to replace my old Citizen which looked similar. This is slightly larger, not a big deal. In comparison to the one it replaces, discontinued, it is bigger. The strap is also less flexible due to a, to my mind, cheaper design. All for more money, yeah. We'll see how this holds up. Like the titanium weight advantage. Somewhat difficult with tiny inner pieces of strap to adjust the length, Took a few tries to get it right. (Last one the innards got messed up, don't know how, jeweler said it can't be fixed.)
I bought this watch a year ago. It was the first watch I bought in many years. My first reaction was that it was too big so I bought a smaller one from Brand S. I wore this Citizen off and on and as time went on I liked it more. My favorite aspects are how the bright parts catch the light (sides of Hour markers, bezel, outline of hands, and bright trim on bracelet). I also like with light weight and how well the sapphire crystal holds up. The watch gets a lot more wrist time now and it got me started in a new hobby collecting watches. It's still larger than I would like so I hope Citizen starts making more watches around 38mm.
The watch is beautiful. It was too tight on my wrist as it came so I added a link. The clasp doesn't micro adjust. Now it is too loose. Unfortunately when I called Citizen I found out that a half link or adjustable clasp isn't available for the Paradigm.
Other than the calendar date being very small, an outstanding, comfortable, attractive wristwatch.
