Beautiful face but don’t like the band

I love the face of this watch and the date display it is a good size not too big not too small. But the band is terrible I hate band I hate the metal grommets it doesn’t let you dial in the wrist size I am between two notches so it is either slightly too loose or too tight the nylon is fine. It isn’t a huge deal because I am just going to replace the bad with something else.

Not really masculine

The watch itself works and is fine i guess, but the band is so thin and much smaller on the wrist than the picture indicates. it gives off a strong feminine asthetic when worn by a man with strong forearms

Easy process to order. Received in a few days. I like the eco drive feature very much. It would be nice if the day/date was a little larger. But, all in all I am very happy with the watch.

Purchased this watch as a gift. The watch is solid, just not sure about how well the band will hold up. It would be nice to have an option for a different band option.

Review of Citizen Eco Drive Garrison watch

This is the only watch I'll ever own. Second purchase as I lost my first during a recent hospital stay. I've had my watch totally covered from any light for months at a time during winter. For many years, I've dropped it, soaked it dropped it in farm manure, snapped it loose on fencing and no problem. Love this product and if need be, will purchase again. Tom Moore

Good utility/outdoor watch

The Garrison Solar Field watch is a good choice for a utility or outdoor watch. Reasonably priced, does not require a battery replacement every few years, is waterproof to 100M and comes with a five-year warranty.

Love watch - strap not so much

I bought this watch for my first experience with Echo-drive, and am happy with that functionality. Not crazy about the stiff strap - replacement coming.

Great Value Everyday Watch with a Few Missed Details

The Citizen BM8180-03E is a solid everyday watch and a great value overall. On the plus side, the Eco-Drive is super convenient—no battery changes to worry about. The watch looks great in person, has a clean field watch style, and the price point is very reasonable. I also really like the day, date complication, which makes it more practical for daily use. Timekeeping has been very accurate as well. The 37mm size is a bit small by modern standards, but still very wearable and comfortable for everyday use. Build quality feels good for the price, lightweight but not cheap, and it’s a versatile watch that works well casually and with different straps. That said, there are a few downsides. The strap it comes with is pretty stiff and uncomfortable out of the box, though that’s an easy fix. A bigger issue for me is the crown, t’s not screw-down, which would have added a lot more confidence. Even though it’s rated at 100m water resistance, the lack of a screw-down crown doesn’t really inspire confidence for water use. Also, the lume is disappointing. It looks great and has a nice blue color initially, but it fades quickly and isn’t very visible in low light. Another minor downside is the mineral crystal, it would’ve been nice to have sapphire for better scratch resistance, especially since some competing watches in this price range offer it. Overall, it’s still a good deal for a nice-looking, reliable watch. Just a few small improvements, better strap, stronger lume, sapphire crystal, and a screw-down crown, would have made it excellent.
