New Garrison Watch

I like my new BM8180-03E Garrison watch but liked my original AT0200-05E Garrison watch better. I like the day & date display on the new watch, but miss the stopwatch feature, the numeral 12 instead of a down pointing arrow at the 12 o'clock position, and the larger size of the original Garrison watch. Best Everyday Watch

If you are wanting a military/field watch that is a great everyday watch buy this one. After a year of constant use the watch still looks great and has always kept perfect time. The canvas watchband with metal grommets is comfortable and stays cool as well. From trails to work to swimming pools to the ocean to farm work to the office to everywhere ( I have literally been 1/2 way around the world with this watch and it still is looking great and on time). Not a single scratch in the crystal - which is unbelievable based on where it's been and been through. Citizen really does make the best watches regardless of price. I have my Skyhawk ( when I used it for piloting my small aircraft - I really depended on it ) from the mid 1980's and it still works too and looks remarkably great for it's age and use. The bezel on the field watch is a bit smaller but that is so it stays within the boundaries of your wrist and doesn't get hung up on brush or engine parts or whatever. Buy it for yourself or as a guaranteed appreciated gift. No disappointments here.

Had for 9 months

Love this watch. Simple, easy to read, nothing wasted on extras. Size is perfect to stay out of the way as you work while wearing. Day calendar stays accurate without having to constantly adjust each depending on setting. Cons: my only real issue is the band. The size holes are gaped with robust rivets. This creates significant sizing changes which each adjustment and I’m in between sizes. Small concern is that the luminescence on the numbers can fade and become difficult to read at night. Would buy again! Would recommend for a great working watch.

Great Weekend Watch

Great Weekend Watch! Looks ruggedly stylish with a military influence. Definitely a must have. I highly recommend this watch. Well worth the price!

First high quality watch ever

Great watch. It's the first high quality watch I ever purchased. I was looking around for pieces that I could wear forever and hopefully pass down, and the Citizen Garrison was the one I kept coming back to. The watch is high quality and looks like it will last a long time. If I ever need more watches, Citizen will certainly be where I'll be coming back to.

I observed a quarter inch spot of vapor condensation under the crystal face wearing my watch in the cold weather.

Wrong watch

This is the order I had so much trouble with. There was also a price difference of the watch I did keep. It working just like I thought it would (great) now give me the price difference and make me feel better about problem with the other watch

Watch is Great

The watch is great - so far. My advice: read the reviews by owners who have had this watch for years and still really like it. I have had mine for only a bit less than two weeks. At this stage, my watch keeps good time and its second hand hits its marks precisely. The nylon band was another story - annoyingly stiff with metal rimmed holes that were difficult to navigate. I replaced it with a single pass strap that works well.
