Love this watch. Simple, easy to read, nothing wasted on extras. Size is perfect to stay out of the way as you work while wearing. Day calendar stays accurate without having to constantly adjust each depending on setting. Cons: my only real issue is the band. The size holes are gaped with robust rivets. This creates significant sizing changes which each adjustment and I’m in between sizes. Small concern is that the luminescence on the numbers can fade and become difficult to read at night. Would buy again! Would recommend for a great working watch.

My watch size 37mm to 40mm for my wrist size. This watch is much nicer than the photos. I but a black leather band on it. Looks sharp. Works great on the time.
Love the look of this watch, the only thing I changed was the strap. I put on an orange crown and caliber and it has been a great summer watch.

This watch is perfect. I’m a smaller framed guy with small wrists. This watch is great it’s not big or too small it checks all the boxes for durability and sustainability. I use heavy equipment that vibrates my hands and arms and all the other watches I mentioned were a bit on the heavy side. The Citizen Chandler is perfect. Lightweight and comfortable, this watch has stood up to all the vibrations from the equipment, has been through the mud, the rocks, the heat, humidity, and all that the weather can throw at it and it still performs and looks great. I can’t think of a more perfect watch! It is very easy to read and the lume is amazing at night; lasting until daylight. I first bought this watch in 2008 and have worn it every day for the last twelve years without it ever missing a beat and it still looks great and works perfectly. I've never been a fan of the band but this watch goes from formal to casual with a band change. If I had one thing to change, it would be to have the hands a bit longer. This is the third one I've bought, this time for a good friend. Just a great everyday watch and the perfect size so you don't have to wear a manhole cover on your wrist like most men's watches these days.

What a great watch, purchased to have an everyday watch. Its built beautifully, the case and strap are sturdy and comfortable. This makes 3 eco drive watches i own now, and it's definitely my new favorite.
This watch has seen many changes in my life. I purchased it on my first overseas deployment with the military... 20 years and a family later, I still love this watch. The original band is long gone (I literally wore it out), but the watch never fails to keep time and the date. If you're wanting something simple and timeless, you've found it.... and yes, it still glows! I do miss the drab green band.

It's got a beautiful military style, and if you change up the band, it could look pretty sleek! As some other reviewers noted, the "eyelet" design around the band that's used to close/latch the clasp of the watch can be hit or miss. It fit my wrist perfectly, by chance. I can close it to the third hole from the actual time piece, about 6.5 inches. I would recommend searching online for an alternate band style, at 18mm, which is easy enough, I would think.

This is an excellent all-around wristwatch: solar powered, accurate, and good-looking it can serve as a "field" watch, or with an upgraded strap it definitely dresses up well. It's better looking in person than in a photo, with good proportions. The mix of brushed and polished surfaces works well, the red sweep-second hand stands out, the lume is useful, and the water resistance fills out the features list. All in all, this is a classic: it could be your only watch.

I have worn this watch For several years now. I was looking for a good everyday field watch style, I was tired of always changing batteries, and this was perfect. The strap was a little too small for my wrists so put it on a nato strap which looks great.
I bought this because it has a classic look. I had been searching for an affordable time keeper, that could become a collectors item. It can compete with a Rolex and two Rolex wears reccomend it to me. I took a look, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I am taking to get it serviced water tested, crystal polished and a band change.
I've been wearing this for at least 5 years now. It's comfy, slim but thick enough to feel good, easy to read, perfect blend of stand-out and blend-in. I've received so many compliments on this watch, "I don't even wear watches and I like that". It just keeps getting better with age, even after the dives I've taken it on. Timeless piece and never needs batteries!

My wife surprised me with this watch for Christmas, and to be honest, I was really hoping she would get me an apple watch. After wearing this beauty for the past month, I haven't even thought about wanting an apple watch. Weird, I know, but it's the truth. This has style and simplicity that is unmatched. I did end up swapping out the band for a silicone band so I could wear it in the water and not have a soggy band. The stock band is nice, and will probably switch it back and forth depending on the occasion.

Been wearing this Beauty for 4+ years, caught my eye because i didn't want a hubcap on my wrist, still have issues changing the date now and then(fat fingers) Would buy another if i thought it would ever quit! only drawback is my wrist is between two holes in the band, like the look so i deal with it
Comfortable and nice looking watch. It also is accurate. The only complaint is that the face ended up getting a small scratch rather easily.
The band is too short for all but munchkins. This is the "one watch for all purposes" that most people preferred in decades gone by. A real joy to return to this weightless wafer after a while with a "sports" or "dive" watch. Had it for 18 months. Its the only watch I (or you) really need. Large dial with readable numbers. Did not come with the Day and Date correctly set. Difficult to set Day and Date. The Day is fine. Don't know when I'll get the correct date. One day in the future.
Overall, this is a great looking watch. Easily readable good lume for the night time, accurate and maintenance free. I wear it daily. My only gripes, and they are minor, are that you can see the solar cell more than I thought you could, and the strap has hole spacing that is wider than normal (so one hole might be too tight, but the next hole is too loose).
I have never owned a Citizen watch and must say that the quality is better than expected. It is a little small but very light and easy to read. The eco-drive feature is a nice touch.
This watch was given to me as a Christmas gift. I own two other Eco-Drive timepieces and have been very satisfied with both. This was my first with a non-metal strap. I loved the casual look of the watch with the simple face and olive band. The Eco-drive feature is my favorite, never having to worry about batteries. I leave my watches on a stand in my room near the window so they are always charged. This particular watch looks great and functions flawlessly. The large numbers on the face are easy to read. They are also feature luminous finish that will glow in the dark for several hours when charged by the sun. My only complaint for this piece is that the band was quite uncomfortable. It has large grommets long the band on both ends that dug into my wrist and caused me to sweat under the band to an uncomfortable extent. The canvas portion didn't cause any issues, but the grommets cover enough of its surface that the band was unusable for me. I ended up switching the band out for a spare leather and nylon one I had from an old Timex watch. Now the watch is one of my daily wears. I will most likely own many more Citizen time pieces, but will stay away from ones with bands like this.
I like my Eco drive military watch but have noticed that it loses a solar charge faster than advertised. After wearing all day, putting it on my night stand overnight causes it to lose time.

Great watch. Would like to have a black strap ( just like the one the watch came with but i can't find one available ) Using a black nato for now because it goes better with most of my clothes. Original strap is of better quality.
