My first watch by Citizen. Price, design and Eco Drive for the Win. Got tired of changing batteries on my old Casio. I was locking for Solar Powered (Eco-Drive), leather strap, easy to see numbers on the dial, date and nice dark blue style. Matches dark blue jeans great.
I like this watch. It's very accurate. The face is advertised as blue. But it's more grey-blue than blue. I wish it were pure blue.
I love the face. The band ? Not so much. The holes are either too tight or bit tight enough. Clasp would be better. At least for me.
Bought this because it seemed to show hands and numbers clearly… PERIOD! Without a melange of useless dials (Really? The time until next leap year?) crapping up its face, the watch promised one thing… to reward a fast glance with the correct time. After three weeks of wear, it’s done that. Also, since I’m reasonably secure in my manhood, this watch was offered without testosteronic chain links on a band which are guaranteed to do little more than gouge up my MacBook Pro and snag sweater or jacket sleeves. It’d be better if the illumination on the hands had longer life than an ill fruit fly. All in all, this watch both lets my iPhone stay in-pocket longer while surreptitiously tracking just how seriously some insecure gasbag’s monologue’s scraping away at my remaining life. Best of all, there’s no need to page through a thick manual twice yearly to adjust it to the caprice of daylight savings time or each time I cross time lines. This is my third Citizen watch.
