I’ve had my pro master diver for at least 5 years and I’m buying a band at least once a year. At this point I have spent at least as much for bands as I did for the watch when new. It is a great dive watch, I have not had any issues at maximum depth with normal air and one mix gas dive to 155 ft. If not for the problems with the band wearing out I would give it a 5. If
Cheap rubber band is absolutely ugly, and it finally snapped off after 2 years of diving (total only about 40 dives). Citizen’s limited warranty apparently doesn’t cover this. Won’t be buying citizen ever again.
Absolutely love this watch. Gorgeous, rugged, perfect size and weight. One thing I can't wrap my head around is Citizen insisting on these proprietary bands. If you are not putting this over a wet suit you are not going to like the long band. I have big wrists/forearms and it's still too long. You constantly have to adjust the two keeper bands. So annoying that I can't go find a different band. This is my third eco-drive and two of them had similar bands. It's literally the only thing that bothers me about these watches but it's a big deal. Please listen Citizen.
I have now had this watch for a month and a half, never leaves my wrist period. I found it to be a little flashy the star burst dial and polished sides but I really like it on my just over 8 inch wrist and sits well on the wrist with no movement but still can put my fingers underneath the case. The watch runs about 6 seconds too fast over a month please allow a second or two, so really good time keeping I can live with 72 seconds a year difference as someone else said are you timing rocket burn times!! The date is to small for my older eyes I will add a magnifier to it, not sure if you can on a domed glass? Also the strap holders are not the best but actually not that bad either.I am a tradesman so during work it has to put up with bumps, scrapes and hard impacts from time to time, My last watch still working after 10-11 years but the lume wasn't the best which this watch does surpass but after waking up in the morning still is very hard to read. Overall I really like the watch it will take 5 years before I would say I love it, great watch thus far and for the money too thanks Citizen. P.s. As I live in New Zealand and they don't sell the watch here, I tried to register the watch but I didn't buy it from a authorised dealer, I have to send it to a authorised dealer to have it verified as someone else had used the same number, I have opened the back case and it's legit from photos I have seen of the movement etc.
