Bad quality strap

I bought one of these less than two years ago, and the strap did not make the whole two years. This is the first time I have a bad experience with a rubber strap, comparing to other brands too. They are supposed to last. I don’t even dive or use this watch to go to the beach. You need to get that better, I just bought a replacement(strap) to you guys, let’s see what about it. If don’t last I, honestly, will consider a different brand since I’m buying Citizen cause the Eco Drive and the durability is supposed to come with the timepiece. Other than that, I like the watch…but, it is a combo!

Poor quality band

Nice, simple, dive watch…I like the eco drive function but the band is cheap, hard, rubber…I expected more for a $400 dollar watch. Will replace the band ASAP…

Citizens Promaster Dive 44mm

Glass scratches very easy, and strap is just okay. Also it’s very hard to see the date calendar in low light settings.

THIS IS NOT A WOMENS WATCH!

1st let me say I LOVED this watch. Great quality, great price. No issues with the packaging, I could care less either way. The reason for the 3 stars, I have a size complaint. This comes up in a women's search. It is supposed to be unisex. There's another that I recently looked at, but in Navy. If you look through all the reviews, especially those with pics, they're ALL men. Why? Because the watch is too big for a woman. It was so large I couldn't make the band small enough, had a ridiculous amount of left over and had to use rubber bands to hold the excess down. I watched some YouTube videos on how to shorten the length, but with a watch that expensive (I didn't get it at the above price), was affraid to try any of them. I didn't want the hassle of looking up the return policy, I'd worn it for a week..ish and didn't want the hassle of a return either. I ended up giving it to my 16yo son. He liked it, wore it a few times, and now it sits on his dresser. I have several citizen watches and I love the eco drive and their quality. However, I was really disappointed in this one. Why isn't there a smaller one available?!? More importantly, why list it as womens or unisex? It's not. It's a mens watch!

Citizen Response We are sorry to hear that the size of your new watch is not what you expected. For this sporty dive watch, the larger size is appealing to women who like an oversized look that is similar to a men’s style. A few watches from our Citizen collection fall under this category and are labeled unisex. As a valued Citizen customer, your feedback is important to us. We will contact you through email where we will suggest other options.
