I purchased this watch directly from this site and received a watch with misaligned hands (minute hand misaligned relative to the hour hand). I paid to have it sent back to Citizen of America for a warranty repair and it was sent back with a misaligned second hand. It no longer hits ANY of the markers. This watch has been a complete disappointment and waste of money at ANY price!
This is a simple, rugged looking Citizen watch. Super happy with the simplicity of use, look and feel. The belt is comfortable, the weight and size is just right for my wrist. Overall very happy with this dive watch for everyday use.
I've had this model watch for two years. I can say it's a great watch, that attends me on sports, on weekdays and it's a sophisticated watch to go out at night. It was an excellent cost-benefit purchase.
Have used this watch daily for the last few years. Including snorkeling, scuba diving, and everyday wear. Keeps excellent time, looks great, and fits well. I highly recommend anyone interested in this watch to give it a try.
I bought this specific model roughly 2 months ago on a sale, and I have been impressed since I unpackaged it. Fairly lighweight, comfortable, accurate (Hasn't lost a second yet), the illumination is optimally bright, and as fantastic as it looks it has stood up to a fair of use while working outdoors, on cars, or at work. The glass is impossible to scratch, and the adjustments all feel tight and tactile. This watch is my favorite, and well worth it even at full price. It will undoubtably will stay in collection, and on my wrist for a very long time.

My son loves it. It was a birthday present - he wasn’t expecting it. The packaging was awesome also!
The watch is fantastic! I like the classic black dial. If you want variability, go this way. You can easily put it on a strap of any colour you like. Initially I ordered the orange gradient version which is more expensive but I realised that it limits colour options and returned it. Also, the watch comes in a mini scuba tank package that becomes a nice addition to my room.
My girlfriend gifted me this watch about a year ago and it's the best watch I could've asked for. I surf 2 times a week (4 times in the summer) and it's been holding up amazing spending hours in the salt water. I have accidentally showered with it, got hot engine oil on it a couple times and dropped it in boiling water by accident..its took a beating the past year! But it just won't quit. After a deep clean it almost looks like I opened it for the first time. Nice and bulky watch too. Very masculine.
This watch is a Sherman tank. I'm not a diver of any sort. I wear this watch while I perform labor, gardening labor. I'm usually with a shovel or hose, and plants. I'm digging and then using a hose. I'm always being surrounded by water, typically 3 times a week, 12 months out of the year. This watch holds up very well and is very strong. I have had the same watch before. I use it until something falls apart with my daily hand-wringing. That may take +/-15 years with me. This watch has proven very reliable and I look forward to putting it on everyday. Not having to worry about a battery makes life even nicer. This watch is no-nonsense and has been worth the money.
Been a month. Happy with it. Set the time using time.gov; leave it under a lamp to charge. Still maintains perfect time. You can swim, shower, run, hike with it. This watch is perfect

This is the 2nd Eco-Drive Citizens Watch I have purchased directly from citizenwatch.com. Both were bought when they were on sale and in my opinion the Promaster Diver at full price would still be a great buy. I always like this style of dive watch and my only problem was deciding which color/combo to buy. I settle on black/black and love the way it looks on my wrist. The Eco-Drive system, after the initial charge, will keep ticking seemingly forever with any additional light source. I added a tempered glass crystal protector (SINO-SKY from Amazon) that is unnoticeable from a top view but is seen from the side (see photos). I am very happy with both purchases and glad I bought them directly from Citizens.

Great dial and fit/finish. The bezel lines up and the hands hit their mark. The Promaster has also been very accurate. Great everyday watch!
I just got it today! Looks awesome! This I my second diver's Eco-Drive I buy , had the other one for 14 years and it just won't give up, Definitely recommend it.
One of my favorite promaster designs, classy and stylish simultaneously. I won't be wearing for dives, but it will be on my wrist during pool times & beach excursions.
Classic watch keeps such accurate time - feels so good on the wrist-

I’ve only had this watch a few weeks now, but I’m already absolutely in love. Everything you could ever want in a diver/daily watch. Not going to go too in depth, but there’s a reason everyone raves on about this watch.
Great watch, excellent build quality for the price point. A fantastic value.
I bought this watch 4 years ago and other than some fading of the text "N.D. Limits" on the band it is still in very good condition. This has been my everyday watch most of the time and I also wear it surfing and snorkeling. I imagine it's been in the ocean well over 200, maybe 300 times. Never an issue with the watch. It's great to use on vacations because I know I won't be late due to a dead battery. I wish the size of the date were bigger, to help my aging eyes, but that's a wish for almost EVERY watch. The only times I don't wear this watch are on more dressy occasions, where a gold watch or watch with a metal band looks nicer. I just saw this watch with a silver band in a store and it looked great!

I bought this watch a year ago for spearfishing, diving, work, etc. I’m a U.S. Army combat diver and work in Key West FL teaching new combat divers. I’m in the water 2-3 days a week, most of that spent at depths ranging from 10-130 ft. I previously used a casio g-shock as a backup to my dive computer but the timer button would hit my depth gauge and stop the time, extremely frustrating and ineffective for a backup to clock TTD. The only time the g-shock was decent for the task was if it was attached to a navigation board for closed-circuit diving. Enter the citizen promaster diver: I researched various options and ended up narrowing the choice down to this watch or a seiko skx777. I chose the citizen because of the eco drive and quartz mvmt being easier to use/less attention required than an automatic mvmt. I set my promaster time by the time.gov atomic clock and after one year the time has only shifted 2 seconds. Im very happy with the amount of illum as well. Too much illum can ruin night vision of your eyes and can actually be seen on a calm clear water night from the surface as divers approach their target. I like how i can charge up the citizen w a flashlight if need be, but found that illum from normal sun exposure during the day is adequate for night diving. Overall, for all practical purposes, this watch is perfect for all the tasks i require of it. I’ve considered buying a second one just to keep NIB so that i can give it to my son when he grows up in fifteen years because I’m confident mine will still be running and I’m afraid such a fine product will cost big money eventually.

This watch is 15 years old. As you can see the bezel is pretty wore out, the crystal is completely flat. I even bought my own kit to change bands with because the bands will wear out but the watch doesn't....
This is probably my 10th Citizen watch I have bought. I love it for its simplicity and bold look. And as always I love the ECO DRIVE!
