The wrong watch was sent, and the refund took longer than expected.
This is a woman’s dive watch that measures 44mm across the face... That is far too huge for most women... Since there is not a smaller version, this will have to be returned for a refund... We would have liked the no battery changes...
I really like the look, comfort, function and affordability of this watch. HOWEVER. I'm very close to sending it back because of the STUPID and completely unnecessary packaging. First it comes in a big box, ok at least that can be reused or recycled but it is unnecessary and takes a lot of energy to make it. Second the watch comes in this little plastic SCUBA tank looking thing. Ok sure it is cute but that plastic is NOT recyclable so guess where it is going? THE LANDFILL and then later into the Ocean. I want to send this packaging back to Citizen. I'm really disappointed because I want to keep this watch but not sure I can in good conscience due to the stupid amount of unnecessary packaging.
I purchased as an addition to my watch collection , for me watch face difficult to manage even with my bifocals on … the date just too small
I finally bought the Citizens Eco-Drive Pro-Master. After the mix up with the delivery process I was eager to wear this timepiece. The weight felt great, the product looked beautiful but; the watch looked to small on my wrist but the band was very uncomfortably tight. Unfortunately and sadly I must return this item.
First let me say this is my first watch of this style. I own a few other of Citizens bigger more elegant watches and wanted one of these for when I am being active, out on a hike or something. My biggest complaint is that the watch needs a magnification window over the date, or the date just needs to be a bit bigger. I mean this is meant to be an active watch with the option to dive with. If I am under water or on a hike I want to be able to look at my watch very quickly and get whatever information I am looking for... The watch band feels alright. It probably needs to be broke in a bit. I am used to wearing Citizen clasp bands that are on their heavier watches that out of the box conform really nice to your arm usually. The face could be a bit bigger as well for my taste. I am a bigger guy, 6’3” 210 lbs so I am sure it is just right if your a bit smaller of a person. Overall I am keeping it because on sale it was right at $200 and it’s the only style watch I now own of this kind and it’s handy when I don’t want to wear a $500-$1000 watch on a hike or a swim. Also it seems like more of a pain at this point to go they the whole return process when simply put. “It will do”....
I just received my watch and low and behold the case size IS NOT 48mm but 42mm. I like the watch and I may keep it, but extremely disappointed at the wrong information on the website.
Pros: I am a fan of eco-drive technology and like that I barely need to think about this watch ever running out of charge. I have no issues with it holding a power reserve, even though I spend most of my time indoors. Though 44mm might seem large on paper, it does not look oversized on my 6.5 inch wrist. Cons: I was not a fan of the rubber strap. It would fit well over a dive suit, but it is a bit long for everyday wear, and it was hard to get a good fit without any micro-adjustment options. It did not transition well to smarter outfits for work. I replaced it with a stainless steel jubilee bracelet and it is perfect. I also wish that the watch had a sapphire crystal. For a watch that is likely to stand the test of time in every other way, this was a shame not to have, and I would have paid extra for it. The bezel is also slightly out of alignment by about 1 or 2 mm, which is barely noticeable but a defect nonetheless. Overall, would buy again. I feel comfortable wearing it everyday in any situation from sports to work.
Nice and light for a diving watch. Elegant, though the material on the circular edge does look a little cheap.
