Great Everyday Watch
Pros: I am a fan of eco-drive technology and like that I barely need to think about this watch ever running out of charge. I have no issues with it holding a power reserve, even though I spend most of my time indoors. Though 44mm might seem large on paper, it does not look oversized on my 6.5 inch wrist.
Cons: I was not a fan of the rubber strap. It would fit well over a dive suit, but it is a bit long for everyday wear, and it was hard to get a good fit without any micro-adjustment options. It did not transition well to smarter outfits for work. I replaced it with a stainless steel jubilee bracelet and it is perfect. I also wish that the watch had a sapphire crystal. For a watch that is likely to stand the test of time in every other way, this was a shame not to have, and I would have paid extra for it. The bezel is also slightly out of alignment by about 1 or 2 mm, which is barely noticeable but a defect nonetheless.
Overall, would buy again. I feel comfortable wearing it everyday in any situation from sports to work.
