I love the ProMaster Eco Drive. Accurate, No battery, easy to read, illuminates well with short amount of time being held to light, bezel doesn't spin without effort, and it looks great on my wrist. I have 2 and love them both . Does the job on land and while I'm in the water. People always notice either the green or orange dial and comment on how nice it looks. I also have a Seamaster 300m Diver and they split time. Solid timepiece!
I have been looking for the right watch for me for a while. I finally found it! I just recently retired from work and this was my gift. I absolutely love it, keeps great time and looks Awesome! Thank You Citizen!!
Got this watch at a department store as my first watch. The finish on the case and bezel are wonderful, and I love the blue dial. The bezel is very sturdy and clicks very firmly into place when using it. I love the size and weight of it, feels substantial and manly. Mine has been accurate to within a second per day. The bracelet finish is beautiful and it is relatively comfortable. Overall a much higher quality piece than I expected for the price. Will be buying more Citizens.
Arrived on time. Use the sizing guide and skip the hassle at home. Lume is excellent. Bezel has a satisfying click. Look no further if you want a quality daily dive watch.
I have had this watch for several months and it is great. It’s a beautiful blue and keeps time very well. It’s lightweight on the wrist but it is a solid diver and a great watch. Citizens are known for their divers.

I picked up a PCAT 4 years ago to replace my TAG and fell in love with the watches. This Promaster is my 5th Citizen Eco-drive watch and I love them all. I always loved the Promaster style and took advantage of the EOY sale from Citizen. Love the style, color and feel of it. Part of my daily rotation.
As many others have stated, this is a great watch. Can be worn everyday without the fear of messing up a more expensive piece. I have 2 Citizen Divers, the other with a standard band. Keeps very accurate time, and comes with the best, longest warranty of any watch that I'm aware of, anyway. I really can't say enough good about it.
Just as advertised. Very comfortable fit and DIY re-sizable if you choose to do so. Rotating bezel is smooth and firm. The minute hand was a little slow out of the package but it wasn’t anything setting the time couldn’t fix. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic looking watch. I like the way it looks on my wrist. Being an eco drive I never have to worry about changing the battery.

A very solid purchase for an extraordinary timepiece, that immediately earned my affection. I've worn many makes & models on my wrist, but this is my first time owning a Citizens timepiece. My only regret would be why didn't I do this sooner? What a handsome piece of jewelry this is, and I love every detail that Citizens designed into my all-stainless steel, Promaster Diver! What's more, aside from all the attention it commands, I like the fact that Citizens Watch is a progressive company that is concerned about our planet. With equipping my timepiece with their signature EcoDrive system, my watch will always keep time by utilizing Solar (light) energy to keep the battery fully charged, meaning it's a one and done for life. One battery for the life of my watch, means reducing landfill and more specifically hazmat waste. This is my jam too, as for many years I've adopted the philosophy that it's my responsibility as a good steward of Planet Earth, to adapt and find ways to lower my carbon footprint. I am committed to this program, not just to combat climate change and help reduce the man-made portion and cause of global warming, but to aid in the preservation of our planet's natural resources for future generations. This is why I ride my all-terrain bike everywhere, and anytime I can. When I have to drive somewhere, my auto is a hybrid. Yes, I know I haven't made the full commitment to a full-electric mode of transportation as my Honda is only half-correct, but it's a start! I strongly feel that with this amazing watch purchase I've made, and by choosing Citizens, with EcoDrive, I've realized my timepiece choice is in sync with my goals to do what I can to be a good steward to our planet, during my short stay here. Kudos to Citizens Watch, for their commitment and attention to precision & quality craftsmanship, that so obviously goes into every watch they create, but also for being an industry leader for producing precision handsome eco-friendly timepiece choices for everyone to discover. .

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it! Fast shipping, gorgeous watch looks awesome on him could not be happier with this purchase.
Love it! Fits and wears like a dream. Easy to read at night. Has the durability to wear every day with the look to still be considered elegant for those special occasions.
This is a great watch! I bought this as a daily watch, it’s just right and pretty much works with everything I wear. On my wrist, it feels nice and is as well balanced as other more expensive dive watches I own. This is the 4th Citizen watch in my collection…..it makes me wonder why I even bothered with the other luxury brands. I recommend this watch without hesitation - just do it.
This us a classy and stylish watch for any occasion! Love it
So, I owned an Omega Seamaster and I loved the watch. It was stolen about 15 years ago and I always wanted to replace it. However, with kids in college, I just could not justify the expense but I did want a new watch in that same style. After a lot of looking and reading, I decided on the Citizen Promaster Diver. I could not be happier. I have had it for 11 months now. It keeps perfect time, is very comfortable and looks great. If I am being honest, I like it more that my Omega. If I could change one thing, I would prefer a sapphire crystal but, after 11 months, I do not have a single scratch on the glass. Just an outstanding watch at really good price point. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I love this watch and I hope it helps someone.
I love my new Citizen diver (BN0191-55L). Heavy on the wrist, it is very comfortable. Larger that a vintage dive watch, its stunning look does not overpower my 7" wrist (photo). The beautiful design echoes luxury watches, like the Omega Seamaster or Tag Heuer Aquaracer, but for a fraction of the price. The brushed stainless-steel bracelet with polished stripes has an elegant shine. It can be finely adjusted with three pin holes. The color of dial and bezel is a classy flag blue, almost black in low light, with splendid navy-blue effects in bright light. The bezel rotates easily - with 60 convenient clicks - and stays firmly in place once set. The green lume is easily readable in the dark, even the second-hand spot. The watch came in a fancy box: more fun than practical. The date window is too small for some, yet maintains the dial symmetry. My old Citizen Eco-Drive has been running perfectly since more than a decade. I know my new diver will run forever. Overall, a stunning and reliable diver at a reasonable price.

Exquisite engineering, simple yet elegant looks. Due to quartz movement it just keeps time. Pleasantly surprised at the build quality (especially the bezel and the dial). My previous Invicta can’t hold a candle against this piece. Big enough on my 7 3/4 wrist, but small enough to not look bulky.
I bought this watch months ago I want you to wear it and try it out before I would write a review. I would like to stay this is one of the best watches I’ve owned. Very comfortable to wear and and gyre at in the water. I love the clean lines of the watch and it’s not so busy. Looking for a great watch this one..

Clean, classic, bold, and sturdy. Everything you could ever want out of a watch: catches people’s eye, can wear everyday or on special occasions, and goes with everything. Highly highly recommend!!
I'm a budding watch enthusiast, having owned a Seiko during my formative years, and most recently buying a new Omega Moonwatch, Tissot T-Race chronograph and Casio G-Shock, with eyes toward a Breitling Superocean Heritage and IWC Portofino to round out the watch box. I will admit, I bought a couple of knock-offs from the swap meet back in the day, too. I wanted an everyday "beater" watch with a few requisite non-negotiables: at least 200M water resistance, quartz movement, simple complications, rugged construction, a name brand, at least 2-year warranty and a great looking blue dial. It needed to be something rugged and yet refined enough that I would be as comfortable wearing in the ocean as on the trail. In the office as in the jacuzzi. In a nice restaurant as on set filming under scorching desert heat. Trust me when I say I scoured the internet doing research for a solid month. I considered the Seiko 5 and Prospex series first and foremost, while also reading up on Sinn, Timex, Casio G-Shock and Edifice series, Hamilton, Victorinox, Seagull and Nixon. At the end of the day, it came down between Seiko and Citizen. However, Seiko watches are not ISO 6425 compliant; the Promaster is. Seiko watches are automatic/mechanical, which while is my preferred type of movement for higher-end watches, is NOT something I want to worry about with an everyday beater. The Promaster isn't just quart, but it uses Eco-Drive technology which theoretically should be good for THE LIFE OF THE WATCH. Talk about self-sufficient! Seiko and Citizen are both widely respected in watch circles, both for their long history of achievement both on the affordable as well as luxury end, in addition to consistently pushing the boundaries of great value-for-money. Seiko offers a 2-year warranty on their watches, whereas the Promaster offered a whopping 6 years! (5 years standard + 1 year once you register online). And then, the looks. The gorgeous iridescent blue dial, the excellent lume, and the aesthetically gorgeous yet no-nonsense masculine construction of the case is just perfect. This is the watch I'll be wearing everyday in and out of the home. And even though my intention is to wear my "nicer" (read: more expensive) watches when I go out on different occasions, I wouldn't be surprised if I just keep the Citizen strapped to my wrist instead. It is just THAT GOOD.

This watch is a strap monster- steel, black silicon, NATO- it looks great on everything. It’s eye catching without being flashy. The dressy dial design makes it possible to wear this watch with formals, unlike most divers in this price range It also lives up to the sturdiness expected of a diver. Diameter is 45mm- might not suit people with small wrists. Lume lasts for 2.5 hours if sufficiently charged.

Beautiful watch! Colors look great. It made a perfect graduation gift.

All around SOLID watch! Can be dressed up, down, all around with different strap options. I'm really thinking about getting the black version as well!

I really did not need this watch since I have three other Citizen watches but I liked the design and color as depicted on the Citizen website. After receiving the watch, the actual blue color is much closer to a deep navy blue rather than the lighter blue shown on the website. Although disappointed in the actual color I decided to keep the watch due to the overall look and quality. If you are expecting this watch to arrive with a “brighter “ blue color you will be disappointed. This is the reason for the 4 star rating.
Loved the design and quality of the watch itself. Band has spotty finish problems and some scuffing. Expected better for this price.
Nice watch with stylish design & high quality & value
I bought mine from an authorized dealer about a month ago. It is precisely and well made and true to the quality of the other Eco Drives I own. I am a fan of Citizen’s Eco Drive; I already own an Eco-Drive One and a Blue Angels Skyhawk. This watch is just as precise and accurate. My only complaint is the quality of the bracelet: It’s not up the that of the rest of the watch.
Citizen pls make a smaller version 40-43 with sapphire crystal and offer rubber strap with blue dial. Other than that it's a great keeps accurate time no more than 5 sec loss or gain in a month. Looks wise you will get compliments from other watch fanatics
The watch itself is great, but I was sent the wrong color face for the Promaster Diver. I ordered a blue face watch and was sent the black face version. Since I was so busy with other Christmas events and duties, I just kept it. However, I won't purchase from this company online anymore.
Citizen Response We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience of the color discrepancy. We are truly sorry for any disruption this may have caused during the busy holiday season. It is uncommon to receive the wrong item, especially when orders are fulfilled based on the model number. We will research this with our service center and contact you through email with further information.
Overall I would say good for the money. Face, hands, dial, all looked great. What was not great was the polished areas which seemed a bit random. I would prefer all matte/brushed steel look over the entire watch and band. The photos do not show just show "shiny" it really is in the polished areas.
My last divers watch bought in 2010- has been sent back 3 times. Zales told me the next is on me. Well it just stopped running again this week. I wear it every day and I am not hard on it. Going to try it one more time and buy the blue faced drivers watch.
Great watch, this is my second Promaster Diver watch.
The title says PromasterDive watch. Forget that I never made a dive in anything deeper than a bathtub and the watch leaked and I sent in back under warranty and the wanted to charge me to repair. What a joke!
Citizen Response Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience you encountered with your watch. This is unusual for our high-performance Promaster dive watch, which is designed for underwater activities with its 200 meter water resistance and screw down crown. However, if the screw down crown wasn’t utilized, water could get into the watch. We will reach out to you through email to learn more about your experience and offer assistance.
The watch itself may have been fine. But the watch I ordered had a blue face according to the website, and the watch I received had a black face, so I immediately returned it.
