I purchased this watch for myself as a first Father’s Day gift, I remember my dad having a Citizen watch and I wanted one as well. This is also my first nicer watch. My everyday wear watch is a GPS running watch so I knew going into this I would only be wearing the Promaster going out/special occasions etc. After buying this watch I kind of went down a rabbit hole of the watch world and I do regret my purchase of this watch. I thought the Eco-Drive would hold a little more battery but since I don’t wear it very often it must have died and has now developed a delay in the second hand. I have worn it outside on sunny days, left it under a lamp and still has the delay. Changing the time and date is a huge pain. It’s very hard to unlock and pull out. Overall it’s a great looking watch, love the style of a diver and it’s very light since it’s titanium. I need to take it to a Citizen store for them to diagnosis the problem. If I had to do it again I would have gone with a different watch.
I received this watch a few days ago. After putting it on I was extremely surprised how "Light Weight" it is. Way lighter than my previous Citizen watch which is the same 44mm size. Its titanium so I thought it might be a little more sturdy than what it is.
Keeps time vary accurately and seems durable but the seconds hand does not line up with the seconds markers on the dial.
great watches but would be perfect with shaphire and better quality rubber band, they are expensive to replace and dont last
Just if the screw down crown was bigger and more finely machined to screw down easily and securely, in and out when needed, to adjust time and date. Crown feels cheap., weak and hard to get started. Date window is too small or could use magnifier cyclop lens?
