I bought this watch because I already have the steel version of it, BN0190-82E, which is very nice but pretty heavy. A titanium version would be perfect, I thought. And it's great. However, I really don't like the skeletonised hands- the steel one has obelisk hands, and I wish they'd kept them for this model. The skeleton hands look overwhelmed by the index markers, especially in the dark. It annoys me so much I'm considering taking the movement out of the steel watch and putting it in the titanium one, then I really would have the perfect dive watch. I suppose I agree with the people who want a sapphire crystal, but I can't say it bothers me that much. And yes, the bezel movement is bizzarely scratchy (not on the steel one), but again I don't really care, although it's puzzling that the people who make the world's most accurate wristwatch can't get that particular thing right on this model. I have lots of watches and I seem to be wearing this one most of the time, so that says it all.
I have had this piece for about a year now and have come to appreciate it tremendously. It was my first titanium watch, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect. It is light, but not flimsy. The handset and dial are quite legible (date complication not so much). The Luke is excellent. The bracelet is a pin and collar system, which I’m not a huge fan of, but it adjusts easily enough if you know what you’re doing. My chief complaint, as it is with many of you apparently, is the lack of a sapphire crystal. Not a deal breaker obviously, but it would have been a nice touch.
Would give it a five star review if the vessel could rotate in both directions. But the watch is reasonably priced and the Titanium feels and looks great!
Nice watch. A few shortcomings. Needs better night time ilumination and Saphire crystal
First titanium watch and possibly last. Watch is heavier than expected but stylish and well built. Case was an upgrade vs the box pictured. Glow in the dark indicators not as strong as hoped. Wear it everyday and hope to for a long time.
I like this watch more than I expected. I with it had a sapphire crystal for better scratch resistance and the option to buy it with (as well as purchase separately) a poly or silicone band. With a sapphire cristal this would be a five star review.
I love this watch but I can’t. BBC change the time. I can’t pull out the strm with my fingers (I do follow the instructions and try when 2nd hand is at 12 ). My fingers just can’t grip the crown.
Great watch, love the light feel and classic look. My only complaint is I feel the metal scratches a bit too easily.
Amazing watch, but could seriously benefit from a sapphire glass instead of mineral.
I have issue with this good watch I have to adjust the date by the end of every month???????I could setting it wrong the day ,I don't know, my casio never did that. By the way the date window is too small, and extremely hard to see the date
