This is an update from the 3 star review. Citizen fixed the loose bezel the second time I sent in. Now it operates correctly and does not turn accidentally. SO I am satisfied. It is slightly misaligned, but that is OK with me, as the bezel is now functional to time activities. I got the original BN0220, the black/gilt dial and the grey case, I also got the dark camo green dial. This is by far the best looking and most legible. I love the orange minute hand, the dark case. It is very comfortable and unique. Of the BN0220 I am not keen on the grey case. The light grey coating looks like some polymer. I would have liked it better if it was uncoated titanium. But the BN0227 dark case, almost black looks very nice. The green BN0228 has a darker dial in pictures. Almost black. The hands have a dark outline that blends in with the dial, thus making the hands look smaller than they actually are. I put it on a black silicone strap which I like better than the stock green accordion style strap. This full lume is amazing, I wear it with a paratrooper anthracite strap, it is very legible underwater. Definitely one of my favorite watches. The full price is a bit high, but there are promotions and fluctuations. I am curious about the European market version, which supposedly has a slightly lighter case. I like this dial so much that I would consider the EU version as a spare. I wish the BN0228 had an orange or other color outlined minute hand like many Citizen divers. Anyway, it took a while to get the bezel issue sorted out, but now all is great.
I thought I was very close to my last watch. This is super lightweight, DLC coating and the super bright full lume face. Sad that the standard wrist strap fits a very small wrist. I was like on the last three to four holes. If it would have been a little longer half inch 3/4 may have kept it. I don't have a large wrist 7.25"-7.5". There was nothing wrong with the strap design was good just too short.
the dial colour is the best , remember the retro era, the style is slim and elegant
