I love the dial of this watch, how it wears. I had bought the BN0228, dark green camo dial version, but this is way more legible. Beautiful orange minute hand. Why only 3 stars? The timing bezel turns extremely loosely. It moves accidentally just by putting a jacket on, or by sleeping with the watch on the wrist. This makes the bezel unreliable for timing events and activities. The BN0228 has a more secure and tight bezel. It does not require much effort, but it does not turn accidentally. This BN0227 has a much looser bezel than the 5 Promaster watches I own. I sent it to the official Citizen Service Center. They sent it back, telling me it was within the norm. I was very surprised. I may return it or send it back to Citizen at my expense. The full lume dial is very nicely implemented, but the looseness of the bezel practically removes the functionality. The BN0228 has the same case and bezel, just different colorways. I checked another BN0227-25x at a department store and its bezel felt a little light and loose as well. The BN0228 camo green seems to have the bezel closer to the case. It makes less of a clicky sound when turned, but it will not accidentally turn on its own. I am wondering if Citizen uses a different bezel spring for this full lume version than the other BN022x-xx series watches. I wish Citizen could tighten the bezel and cover the shipping costs as I had this watch for a little more than a month.
I thought I was very close to my last watch. This is super lightweight, DLC coating and the super bright full lume face. Sad that the standard wrist strap fits a very small wrist. I was like on the last three to four holes. If it would have been a little longer half inch 3/4 may have kept it. I don't have a large wrist 7.25"-7.5". There was nothing wrong with the strap design was good just too short.
Wonderful time piece with a classy rugged look of distinction.
