I bought it at Macy's in Garden State Plaza a few weeks ago, and haven't taken it off since. Albert K at the watch department helped and he's my go-to guy. Very comfortable to wear. It feels very strong and quiet visually. Very legible dial, and there's something cozy about the colors and font and general design of this watch. Wish the bracelet tapered a little bit. But I love it like a simple Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date in quartz.
This is my third Citizen eco-drive wristwatch. I have had my first one for 30+ years and it still runs perfectly. I have had Apple watches for the last 10 years, but I’m tired of all the apps constantly disturbing my thoughts and having to raise my wrist and shake it to make the screen display the second hand. I wanted to go back to a simple watch that tells time and date with large characters that are easy to read, that can be seen in the dark and doesn’t need batteries. Citizen provides all that. So, I bought a stainless-steel Citizen eco-drive that fit the bill. Then, Citizen offered an all-titanium watch and band a great sale price. I couldn’t resist the deal. Now I’m the proud owner of a beautiful, comfortable, legible, precision-crafted timepiece I can wear anywhere.
Impressive looking watch with a sharp green face. The contrast between the green face and the flat silver band makes a stunning combination. The watch glass appears to have a slight magnification that helps when viewing the dial. The hands have a better than expected illumination when in low light. I am completely satisfied with this watch.
While the Promaster Tough is not what I’d consider a go anywhere, do anything watch, because the large Arabic numerals on the dial are wrong for a dress occasion, it is still a great field watch for everyday wear. The looks are good. The muted titanium head piece and bracelet are understated and light on the wrist. The legibility is off the charts. The lume is an all night affair. Sapphire crystal, 200m WR, AND eco-drive? I defy you to find a better grab and go piece at this price point that still looks like something an adult can wear to the office.

The smooth edges of the caseback make this watch comfortable for activities like mountain biking, it does not chafe the wrist bone during long rides. The domed sapphire crystal is fun to look at. The numbers are bold and read well. The lume is bright.

Large stylish easy to read numbers and hands. Really good looking in person. The sapphire crystal bows outward somewhat which simultaneously protects the bezel and looks great. Love the green color. Strong lume. Light titanium bracelet. Thickness is not too bad and size fills my size 8 wrist but doesn't overwhelm it. Only negative I can see is the calendar is quite small and hard to read (at least with 62 year old eyes). I had my eye on a Glaschutte watch with a very similar appearance, but that sucker was $8,000! This arguably looks as good or better, is titanium instead of steel, costs 1/15 as much, and will probably last longer without service due to the ecodrive.
This watch is not just elegant, but sporty too and no batteries needed, over and out!
I own a lot of watches at, below and well above this price range and I was impressed, the dome of the sapphire really highlights the dial, the lume is on pair with Seikos and the dial is so easy to read. Regardless of the size it’s deceivingly lightweight due to the super titanium construction.. great deal

This is my third Promaster Tough. Why three? The Promaster Tough is a great watch. Tremendous accuracy and durability. IMO, good looking in a simple strong way. No fluff. I bought the first and still love it. My best friend passed away and his family gave his Promaster Tough to me. And now, the new face and titanium. I have a few expensive automatic watches. The Promaster Tough does everything they do at a fraction of the price.
The pro tough is nice looking and well made. The date is readable and the band is strong and adjustable. The watch is also easy to take off and put on and can’t fall off.

Perhaps my favorite Citizen. I have the UK-only version that features 300m water resistance. Also, it’s slightly smaller at 39.5 mm. Just a great, legible, simple comfortable, lightweight and well designed piece. The ultimate tool watch for me.
