Great watch
This watch is great. I’ve wanted a Promaster for a while, but not having sapphire crystal has been stopping me. I’m terrified of scratching my lens. It is on the thicker and heavier side, but it wears very nicely. It’s built like a tank and I expect it will take a beating. It will also spend quite a bit of time underwater. THE BAD! I give the watch a 5 star review because my list of bad is all personal preference. I can’t stand rubber straps, and I actually called citizen to ask about the strap design. The lady on the phone was very nice, but misinformed. After I gave her the model number she told me it was a 22mm spring bar, that is why I ordered the watch. Anyway when I received it I was very disappointed that it was a proprietary strap attachment. There was hope! I found an adapter that converts it to 22mm lugs. Between this and an amazing NATO style strap from Chesapeake Bay Leathercraft this is now one of my favorite watches. I highly recommend this watch to anyone who’s looking for a quality rugged dive/tool watch. The adapter is from suppaparts.
