I bought this watch several years ago, before decent looking watch-style dive-computers came out. Since then, I have purchased 2 Shearwater computers—one of which is the watch style, but it uses a battery that has to be replaced by the manufacturer after 4-5 years. This watch has never let me down power-wise or usefulness-wise as a back up depth sensor plus as an easy way to time various diving activities. Although I’m a woman, and this is a big heavy dive watch, I made it work for me. The women’s dive watches don’t have the functionality I want and need. I bought steel strap-converters to use a webbed fabric strap instead of rubber since rubber trap moisture and cause me skin problems. I do wear this as a regular watch when I’m tired of my other tracker-type watch.

All dive fans, I bought my Citizen BN2021-03E few weeks ago. Asi you can see, I bought also BN20 steel adapters from Suppaparts. Yes this is realy a huge and heavy watch. But I don't feel that, when I have this watch on my wrist. Naturely it's heavier like my Casio Protrek. In my version the weight is 185 gr. The movement is awesome. The accuracy of IT is 8 seconds in 1 month. ( This could be better :-) ) . The luminous hands and hour markers can I read even at 4am. I was worry about the watersensor, but in normal daily use I don't turn the depthsensor on. Just when I was swimming runs the depthsensor on. I tested it just for training in swimmingpool. The ascend speed alarm is not so loud. It is to hear, but it do not disturb.
I was searching for a dive watch with depthgauge and after long search I chose this watch because I don't need to replace the battery, is easy to read without any additionals settings.
This is realy the best the best dive watch I have found. I reccomended this BN20.. model. On the picture with my handmade thermoplast-leather strap for drysuits or any gloves and no deco table.

I’ve been diving since 1988 recreationally. I was ready to buy my next Aqualand Promaster since my old from ( from the 90’s) is getting harder to read in low light conditions due to my aging eyes. I
This newest generation serves as my backup to my computer and looks good while doing it. I have about 10 dives on this watch and so far love it. Built like a ……. Citizen. I now have two Citizen Aqualand watches built 20 years apart. Love the product. Keeping building great watches!
