Best Depth Meter Watch Out There
I am a PADI Certified Dive Master, and I have been diving since 1992. Over the years I have owned a number of dive watches, including the original Citizen Promaster Aqualand model C022-088093. I can honestly say that this is my favorite watch out of all of them.
First there is the appearance. This watch screams diver! Every time I am out in public, whether it is running errands, grocery shopping, or diving, people always give me compliments on my watch. The two tone stainless steel with black is very stylish, and looks great with anything you wear. The large face is easy to read, and the luminous markers work great at night.
Next is the function. This watch keeps excellent time, and you never have to worry about changing out the battery thanks to it's solar technology. Underwater the depth meter function works great, and makes a great back up to your dive computer. Because let's be honest, dive computers do fail on occasion. The bezel only turns in one direction, which keeps you from exceeding the no decompression limits. Given the size of this watch, you hardly notice the weight. I have worn this watch all day, and not once felt any fatigue in my wrist. However, due to it's large size, you will find difficulty wearing this watch with a dress shirt or suit jacket. I don't mind because the large size, and rugged case, is why I bought it in the first place. This watch can definitely take a beating.
In conclusion, this is an awesome watch for the price. I am the type of shopper that thoroughly researches items before purchasing them, and I must have looked at over 20 dive watches before buying this one. Trust me when I say that you will not find a better dive watch for your money period!
