I love Citizen, however this is a fail. The strap is ridiculously small. I'm a 5'6" guy and would have to use the LAST hole in the strap. It's basically worthless. The crystal is mineral. For this price point? Not acceptable! Guess I'll go back to Seiko.
This is a great looking watch. The face is big and open and the color scheme is very pleasant. People are right the band that comes with it kinda sucks. I’m used to buying separate bands on account of big wrists. Plus I prefer nato straps where feasible. I put a Blushark khaki strap on it and it looks and first wonderfully. I just got it so I can’t speak to the ruggedness but I’m not expecting it to be a banger.
Watch is excellent, the band is extremely stiff and hard to navigate.
As with all the Citizen watches I own, this one is also of high quality and looks great on my arm. It is a welcome addition to my collection.

It's a great watch! I love the eco-drive technology and I've gotten a large number of compliments so far on the military styling. Great watch!

I was hoping for a relatively light weight (not cheap feeling) watch þat never needed a battery, looks great, & fits my wrist well for all day everyday use. Eco-Drive is always a must for a Citizen watch and the chronograph is one of the most serious and professional looking you can get. Þe strap it comes with is very comfortable wiþ it wearing so much better þen even I was hoping for. Citizen always seams to deliver and þey really have here.
I love this watch…it has exactly the variables I appreciate. The one flaw is the watch band is too short and Citizen wouldn’t compensate me to replace it.
The watch is simply amazing! The eco battery is sufficient so far but we are still really early in the purchase. The fabric of the band is extremely comfortable and great for multi-purpose wear.
Love the combination of ivory face, black case, and green/khaki Cordura band. I live in the desert and this watch fits perfectly in that environment. Some have criticized the band length on Citizen watches, but I find it exactly right.(my wrist is 6.75 inches). The Eco-Drive is very reliable ( I have 2 that are going strong after 5-10 yrs.) The case is a bit high profile due to the recessed face and "bleacher-like" sloped perimeter (which I assume is to accommodate the Eco-drive "ring") but this also gives it a robust field watch look. Good to 10 ATM, my limit for swimming/snorkeling. Mineral crystal may put some off, but it's naturally non-glare and virtually shatterproof so if it does collect a scratch on the surface I'll consider that a character mark. And I don't expect any blemishes to interfere with legibility because the watch is extremely readable. The red minute hand detracts a little from quickly identifying it and might have been better color matched to the hour hand, but that's a very picky observation. The Lume is limited to the primary hands and quarter hour marks, which I think is pleasing in it's simplicity and sufficient for identifying the correct time. I like the triple dials for date/day/24hr. indicators. This watch is a great value at under $300....probably deserves better.
3rd 10 year Citizen eco watch. I have 2 30K plus watchs that do not keep time as well as these do.
