This is a great looking watch. The face is big and open and the color scheme is very pleasant. People are right the band that comes with it kinda sucks. I’m used to buying separate bands on account of big wrists. Plus I prefer nato straps where feasible. I put a Blushark khaki strap on it and it looks and first wonderfully. I just got it so I can’t speak to the ruggedness but I’m not expecting it to be a banger.
I love Citizen, however this is a fail. The strap is ridiculously small. I'm a 5'6" guy and would have to use the LAST hole in the strap. It's basically worthless. The crystal is mineral. For this price point? Not acceptable! Guess I'll go back to Seiko.
I like the watch. However, there are a few things that disappoint me. First, the watch band is a different shade of Khaki than on the internet picture. Also, the band will need to be adjusted to fit properly. Finally, when you pay over $200 for an every day watch, I don't think you should have to remove the stem, etc. per the instructions before you can use it. This adjustment should have been done by Citizen before the watch was sold and shipped
Received this as a Christmas gift from my wife back in 2017. It’s awesome and works with replacement 20mm wrist bands. The crystal face was scratched within two months and isn’t as durable as it leads on to be. Do not wear it if you’re going to do anything rough. Not military rated or industrial rated. Only office rated. Love the Echo drive and look.
I would not recommend any field use for this military inspired watch. Although the look would suggest ruggedness, the durability is sub par. I have had this watch for less than 2 weeks and already have a nice scratch across the crystal face. Meanwhile, I have worn my other watch daily for 10 yrs and the face is still flawless. Love the look, very disappointed in quality.

I own two Citizen watches! The Skyhawk and the Chandler chronograph watch with the olive green wristband. I love the Skyhawk because I do some flying. I love the options it has and the wristband fits is great. But when I am not flying I wear the Chandler chronograph watch. With the exception of the wistband being a tad to short it’s a great watch. So I set out to get another watch that was military in nature. This watch caught my eye. But after purchasing it and bringing it home it’s not what was expected! Like my other Chandler the wristband is a hair to small. I don’t understand why Citizen makes such small wristbands. They must think that all men are short and small. Also instead of having illumations on every hour it’s just on every quarter hour and there is no back lighting. So if you are the dark I hope you have good vision because you won’t able to tell time unless it’s on the quarter hour. Also the wristband color is very deceiving. On the internet and the catalog the color is portrayed as a desert tan. But actually it’s more of a taupe to a light green.
