This is an amazing watch and I wish I was able to have kept it. I ordered the watch because I liked everything about the way it looked. Unfortunately the band was made for small wrists only. Forget about ordering the band if you have an average size male wrist. Sure I could have replaced the band and kept it, but the whole point of buying it was because I like the way the band and face looked together. I didn't want a different band that looked similar I wanted that band. I called Citizen to see if they could provide a bigger band but they do not carry a bigger size. I would have ordered the sand colored Citizen watch as well, but that band is the same size. I would've bought two watches but unfortunately it wasn't available for my size wrist.
I think it’s a cool affordable watch that does its job. I thought the strap was terribly stiff. It’s just not the type of field watch I’d want at this point in my life. If you’re active duty I think this would be a great everyday watch. I just wanted to go with something a bit higher end, automatic, looks a bit more refined.
Very small band, they do not have a replacement band. so you will have to purchase a band, that will actually fit your wrist. unless you have very small wrist. you pay a lot money then you have to buy a band from another company so you can use your watch lol.
I bought this watch, and the next day I left it in the sun to charge. About 3 hours later I went to check on the watch and there was condensation under the face. I have sent it back to where I bought it, now waiting for a new one. Unfortunately the Citizen store I bought my watch from, has a no money back, only an exchange for the same style. No photos to share cause I sent the watch back.
First time Citizen owner. Nice watch. Looks good on the wrist. Easy to read the time. So far, so good. Too early for much else.
This is a great watch. However I don't have big wrist and I struggle to get the band on. This would be a much better product if it had a longer watch band. Also the knob gets caught on the pocket of your pants occasionally causing the time to have to be reset.
So far I really like it. Dials and glow the dark are nice, it is a bit on the heavy side. Only reason for three stars is the wrist band is way too small...I have normal sized wrists and it's too small...for a watch on this price point should have had the option to choose wrist band length
I have had this watch almost a full year now. I have broken the glass twice and had it replaced through the jeweller I bought it from. This is definitely not an outdoor activity watch. It’s heavy and after about 3 months the glow in the dark symbols and hands fade out. It does keep accurate time but mine will get stuck about once a month. Not sure how long the battery life will hold up. If you are looking for a nice watch that will holdup to the elements and outdoors- this is not for you. I would go with something a little better suited for that use.
I pretty happy with this watch, however, it does not appear to have a way to zero it out. The hands do not all point straight up at 12:00:00. The second hand ticks to the half second in between the second marks. I'm not very happy about that. Other than that the watch does everything that I anticipated.
Love this watch, but… There is one major drawback for me. And that is the lume is only on the hands and 4 main pips (12, 3, 6, and 9) and not the numbers. Additionally, the hands are slim and the pips small dots, which do not hold the lume all night. I should have read the description closer before purchasing. In the pictures on the Citizen site, one would assume the numbers are lumed because of their color. Other models with a similar look have lumed numbers. The Garrison does not, and there were no night shot images of the watch to clarify this. At any rate, although slightly disappointed, I'll still enjoy wearing the watch, but will be looking for another model that has fatter hands and lume on the numbers.
